Oh they know, they just don't care at all.

They figure most of us will be back for 2k13 in the probably false hope that they fixed this.

SOmetimes I think they actually break a few things every year on purpose to ensure the flaws make you hate the current game enough to buy the new one when it comes out.

That sounds like a conspiracy theory; yet, I, for one, find it very plausible that they would do something like this . . .
