Yea its a PS3 only problem, more than just a few people pissed off about it. Especially losing their shoes heh.

Having the same problem here (PS3). First time I've ever had an issue with freezing in an NBA 2K game. Hopefully it's a quick fix.

This happened about a week and a half ago to me, deleted everything except MyPlayer file (the only mode I really play), re-downloaded a patch (not sure which), and all was good for about a week. Played offline only.

Tonight, all ready to play some MyPlayer and BAM, freeze at the loading settings. Music just cuts off. Tried doing the same as last week--deleted everything except MyPlayer. Didn't work. Tried copying MyPlayer file to my other PS3 account name and deleted MyPlayer file on original account. STILL didn't work.

Weird thing.....only saw one person mention as well: After wiping memory utility CLEAN and starting 2k up, NO patches are offered. Anyone else can confirm?

damn this stinks. First nhl 12 freeses and I have to get rid of it, now 2k12 is doing it. These are game killers. I am gonna have to move on to fifa for now.
My game(ps3) started freezing last night during load screens. I guess I will hold off a few days to see if 2k has a fix coming out shortly. ugh ! game makers should refund you money when the freezing issues arise. This issue really does kill it. so frustrating!

i have a week old brand new ps3 and this happen to me last night...had to delete the updates and re download the legends showcase again but lost all my nike id stuff . This is ridiculous for this to be happening 4 months after the game was released

I dont even think im gonna get this game again after all of this......at minimum its gonna take 3 weeks just for the patch to get approved by Sony, then another 1-2 weeks just for them to test this. Hell it will be a month to 2 months b4 it will be available. Thank you 2K for not properly testing ur patches b4 they go public. Good freaking job!

It is not just the PS3 version. I have the 360 version and the game is freezing at the loading settings screen as well.

Up until you said this I've not seen one person on 360 say this is happening to them. I believe you, I'm just going by what I've been reading.

I have played the game a lot since that last update two days ago and I've had zero problems. In fact I played a few more games just a few hours ago and nothing.

I guess I'm lucky then if this is on 360 as well.

No problems on 360, just PS3 for me, but I didn't try deleting any files yet.
