Re: Marcin Gortat
in this my 5th season, this is imnho, the strongest Heat team I have seen!
nevermind Gortatthat trade should've been veto'd!
but the Heat now have
LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Chalmers .. in addition, Kenyon Martin (about to retire and chasing the ring I'm sure, he's 38 yrs old folks! but KMart is still the physical enforcer he always have been) and Raymond Felton
additions of Felton and Kenyon (even if he is in the twilight of his carreer is still a force)
makes this Heat team in my opinion, their most dangerousComment

Re: Marcin Gortat
in my association im just now playing a game and the Knicks go double LeBron who throws it to a cutting Gortat wide open for a dunk.. he then stares the camera down
i'm thinking to myself, "this man needs to be stopped!"
nerf Marcin Gortat!!
edit: you know now that im really interested in thisI'll go check out the box scores of my previous playoff games and check out Gortat's lines.. i mean i'm having fun joking around but that's a killer line, 18 points 17 boards 8 offensive rebounds.. maybe i just haven't yet noticed the awesomeness of one Marcin Gortat

Re: Marcin Gortat
I was playing as the Suns and struggling mightily on offense until Marcin Gortat re-entered the game in the third quarter and began punishing Ben Wallace on the block.
Gortat would score 10 pts in the quarter (2-3 FGM/FGA, 6-6 FTM/FTA) and force Ben Wallace to foul out early in the fourth quarter.
This man is not a man. He is a beast.Comment

Re: Marcin Gortat
just like paul milsap...milsap score 54 points on maimi heat,,CPU vs CPU.I'll do whatever it takes to win games, whether it's sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot.

Re: Marcin Gortat
the problem is that it's too hard to defend near the hoop...they get you with all the spin moves, pump fakes, and up-and-unders...once they get near the hoop it's an automatic 2 points...or you foul them and they get their points at the line. there isn't enough realistic collisions or proper animations to stop these inside moves.
at one point, i saw the opposing big man starting to post up...so i brought over a second defender to cut him off as he spun out of the post...i positioned my defender right in front of him as he came out of the spin but my defender was just conveniently nudged out of the way and did not bump him or stop his progress...i think the current generation of systems just can't offer the types of realistic collisions that i need in a basketball game.Last edited by blues rocker; 10-23-2011, 08:08 PM.Comment
