we complain cause we was given yet another year a half game this year more 1/4 of a game since 2k11 was close to perfect

so will we be able to use our my players against other my players in pickup? that's the only way i'd even consider getting this. this whole thing is so frustrating, just leave the 2k11 servers up till 2k13 at least.

If 2k11 was so great - go play 2k11. 2k11 has nothing to do with this.

2k11 is not perfect....

I did not know they removed pick-up games, 21, three point contest, dunk contest; all of which were part of 2K11. To get some of these features back, I do have to pay $10.

That's like ordering fish & chips from a restaurant, and when they server me my meal I find out that ketchup costs an additional $2. Apparently I'm suppose to know that before I order my meal?

2k11 wasn't close to perfect, this game actually blows it away gameplay wise.... 2k11 was/is just a lot more fun.

This should be free to make up for the broken promises of Online Association. Where is the full customization? Where is the web site?

Yet added online association & legends people were clamoring for.

If you really want to play those modes, go buy 2k11.

And enough with the terrible examples! What's next - the DLC is like the girl next door who used to come over for free but now she's a prostitute? Good grief.

Eh, criticism about DLC offerings are totally valid. I'm not sure what I think of this DLC offering yet myself, but I think it's more than fair to express frustration when game modes are taken out of a game then made into DLC.

Will we or won't we be able to bring our My Players online to compete vs other MP's? Was this answered and I missed it?

I could give a crap about the legends stuff because the reality is, it's gonna fizzle out once the novelty wears off. Online gamers don't get any respect 'round here.

Because most of the optional content are things that were included in the game last year. How is this so difficult for some people to understand?

I don't remember 2 on 2/ 3 on 3 challenges on 2k11
I don't remember additional legends on 2k11
I don't remember cel shaded graphics on 2k11
I don't remember horse on 2k11

Included in the classic roster will be players that aren’t even in the retail game. You’ll see the likes of Kevin Johnson, Bob Pettit, George Mikan and Rick Barry to name a few. The list of new legends will slowly be revealed between now and the unannounced release date. Also to be noted is that players in the Legend’s Showcase DLC will be re created to be at the peak of their careers. For example, Bill Walton appears in NBA’s Greatest as his career is dwindling down on the 1985-’86 Celtics, but in the DLC he will appear on the ’78 Blazers. Current players like Jason Kidd, Tim Duncan and Grant Hill will also be re rated so you can use them at the peak of their careers. Disappointingly, though, the jerseys and players that are added to the DLC will not be available anywhere in the retail game.

Think I'll just play this in 2K11 for free

Pick-Up is the mode that gives you the most freedom. From anything to a one-on-one match up to a full on five-on-five scrimmage, Pick-Up will let you create the most random rosters from a pool of over 300 players, half current and half classic.

This doesn't mention online

Last, but most definitely not least, you will have the ability to take your My Player into Pick-Up, HORSE and 21.

Neither does this.

You would think - since MP online has huge appeal - that 2K would make it 100% clear that we can use our My Players online. Don't get your hopes up. Think I'll retire my MP now, there's literally no incentive to keep playing it if it's a 100% offline mode.
