I don't think you guys are crazy, and I'm sure I'll return to this thread at some point saying, "Okay! Okay! I see it now!" but at this point, it's been working alright for me. For instance, in the following clip, maybe Mitch Richmond could have remained spotting up, but he saw a hole and he took it. I kind of liked the thought. It works out here, but I'm sure there's numerous times where it won't.

This is not what he's talking about you player was on the move from his spot when you decided to pass him the ball, he's talking about players that decide to move from an open spot when you pass them the ball not before.

Yes, the receiver cuts when the pass is initiated just like icon lead pass, but it happens when you use just plain directional or icon passing.

Damn this sounds annoying. I haven't started my player yet so I hadn't noticed it.

I was in the post with Bynum on association n got doubled I'd kick it to Gasol for a open jumper on the baseline, wing or free throw line, but he always stayed put n didn't cut. Must be a tendencies issue since taking those jumpers is part of his game

.....I'm going to launch my controller at this TV. Is this only happening to me? I would have shooters wide open on the wing or the corner, and when I decide to pass it to them they suddenly decide to move/cut and the ball ends up stolen.

I'm like I'm passing you the ball because you are open!!!! Stay there please!!!! I'm not leading them to the basket either. Any ways to prevent this from happening so much?

Absolutely not, this is an annoying flaw that has existed since 2k11 and is one of my pet peeves. I have learned to basically hand-off the ball to the player in some circumstances as opposed to passing it, to avoid their pointless cutting creating an opportunity for a passing lane steal/deflection. Other than that, redefine your concept of a player being 'open'. If there is a guy anywhere in the vicinity of the player or the passing lane, the guy isn't open.

From Chicago, diehard Bulls fan, only team I use in 2k and basically the only reason I bought the game so nice try, how bout adding to the topic at hand.

I can bet all the money in the world that once three pointers are patched you will barely see the Bulls again... I don't even put Korver in the game bc of that.

im just sayin, a bunch of people who are quick to call out Heat users are also using powerhouse teams like the bulls, lakers, thunder, dallas etc.

seems hypocritical. if you wanna use those teams, by all means do...but doesnt seem right to bash others.

I had this same issue up until last night... something happened and I swear they patched it on the DL.

I cut my turnovers against my buddies to about a third of what i was averaging before. we play 8-12 minute games and i average anywhere from low 20's to low 30's in turnovers... most of them coming from this very issue.

last night, i averaged under 10 a game. i noticed that once the initial play failed, my players were standing around on the perimeter, not moving... waiting for me to call something, as opposed to just trying to jump into another play at the moment i look to pass it around to someone who's wide open on the perimeter.

much, much better... anybody else notice this?

I was bashing him bc he was a bum not bc he was using the Heat. He did nothing but try to abuse the new and improved God Mode LeBron that 2k created. If he was nice i woulda gave him respect
