Stealing the post up dribble, Cant do it

If any dribble that needs to be stolen 9 out of 10 times is the post up dribble, U can swipe 100 times and you cant steal it. I know that it should be stolen most of the time or a foul should happen, its too cheesy to post up dribble in traffic and nothing happens..Just horrible.

I rip them a bit off of a double. You can't take it with the man that's being backed down, it has to be ripped by the help with the better angle.

I actually wish they had more "gambling steal animations" for you guys who are trying 10 times to steal the ball from the post. I would never change it if I were the Devs. Maybe make every 20 times a foul is called. But every 30-40 swipes and a steal might happen again.

Yeah i also notice this..eventhough i swipe the ball from the backing down player..i really can't steal the ball but last night when i swipe the ball i luckily get the ball but it didn't registered as a STEAL and when i pass the ball for a fastbreak assist it didn't registered as an ASSIST also..i think its a bug or some glitches..whacha think guys?

yeah i dont get this seeing how the post up dribble is the most vulnerable dribble it seems like it should be the most susceptible to this live ball thing they implemented.

This is pretty much the only way to get the post man's cookie if you're a user. I've had the CPU knock the ball away on spin move several times.

You can steal from the post with the post defender... it doesn't happen often which is good. You have to have a high steal rating, #1, also it helps to have a high post defense and a high on ball d rating as well.

Big vs Big, rarely will you see a steal during the backdown animations.

Guard/Forward vs Big, you can get the steal during a post move or during a physical backdown. It doesn't happen all the time as said before but it definitely can happen.

I would also have to agree that this isn't a 9/10 time steal situation. Maybe 2,3/10 at most. I also have to agree that this should be a live ball situation so that backing down in traffic creates more loose ball scenarios.

In reality the 'live ball' in this game is not really live ball 100%, which is misleading... I thought live ball was going to be live all the time and there would be no-(well at least >90%) morphing of the ball.

It's not a steal 9/10 times irl. Why would it be in game. I remember the year when it was like that on 2k, you couldn't post up at all
