Re: This Game is so Much Easier Using the 2Kcam
Glad you liked... at first I was hesitant on the changes from default 2k cam, but after playing on drive (cam) a bit on 2k11, I tried to merge the two. Now I just need the cam to slightly rotate on the wings (in order to fix some of the blind spots during rotations). Beluba make it happen, heck I'll even give you the name for it, you can call it Chia cam.Comment

Re: This Game is so Much Easier Using the 2Kcam
i dont like 2k because u can't see the whole court when your either on the left or right side. i like to know if i have a shooter on the other side so when i drive , i like to know if i should kick out for a 3 .
Also , i dont like the flip that happens on each possession when playing on 2k camera.

Re: This Game is so Much Easier Using the 2Kcam
I have used 2k cam forever, always makes playing the demo a challenge!
Every camera has it's strong and weak points, just depends on what you're looking for. I agree that overall it is easier to play the game for the most part, although, for me, post offense and defense is more difficult with this cam.Magic and Noles,Knights that are gold, these are a few of my favorite things...Comment

Re: This Game is so Much Easier Using the 2Kcam
I can't bring myself to use anything other than Broadcast (or Press or whatever looks like it). I've tried, I have really tried. Every time I tell myself: "OK, today I'll try playing using the 2K cam or some cam like that", an inner voice tells me not to (no threats, it just tells me; my inner voice isn't violent).
Maybe some day I'll have the courage, maybe some day... Or maybe some day I'll find a group of Broadcast Anonymous. I'm sure I'm not the only one...My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB

Re: This Game is so Much Easier Using the 2Kcam
Let me preface this by saying I've been using the broadcast camera for the last 5 years or so. I thought I would try it "out of the blue" after watching a youtube video. Here are my observations, anyone feel the same way?
1) It's soooooooooo much easier to play defense. To stay in front of the offensive player. Moving left to right with the stick vs. up and down in broadcast cam.
2) Passing is easier too. You see up the floor and don't feel inclined to make passes that would get tipped or stolen in any side angle camera. Passing into the post is easier as well. I'm more patient to pass in to the post when it does not look like it will get deflected. I cut down my turnovers more than half in the three games that I played last night.
3) This is the biggest one for me. I don't know exactly what it is, but while playing lobby rats via quick connect I felt more inclined to not push the pace. Use 20 seconds off the clock no matter how much I was "baited" into a fastbreak bonanza.
4) I looked at gametrack to see my shot charts and I took shots from almost everywhere on the floor then I looked at my opponents and you guessed it in the paint or three's only (rolls eyes).
I could be going crazy, anyone else notice these benefits or others. And if you have not tried it or have not for years like me, I encourage you to do so.
My 2kcam settings:
Zoom = 4
Height = 1
Zoom Lane = On
Fixed = Off
Thank You. This is what I've been saying. We've heard gameplay complaints, but not often enough do we hear the surrounding factors that may contribute to those complaints like camera angle they're using and what difficulty they're playing on.
I've found that manually contesting 3pt shot = miss. Which is perfect. And I've been using 2kcam from day1. And the passing lane steals are avoidable also with patience. But I've also been using the 2kcam from day1 with those better angles and vision. I'd be willing to bet that people that use Side or BC cam make up the bulk of the gameplaycomplaints. Each cam angle has it's share of advantages and disadvantages, comes with the territory.Comment

Re: This Game is so Much Easier Using the 2Kcam
I still like 4 and 1 so I can see everything. Anything above 4 makes me feel like I'm loosing some of the court to pass two. With 4 or 3 I don't have the problem you indicate.

Re: This Game is so Much Easier Using the 2Kcam
I feel like the sideline cam is too 90'ish, reminiscent of NBA Jam and early NBA Lives. The high up, from behind cam [2k cam], allows you to do so much more.
My problem is though, with the 2k cam, you can never truly see the whole half court while on D, or O. So if you're on the right wing dribbling, say there's a guy WIDE OPEN on the far left behind the 3, you can't see them. I've tested, and it doesn't matter what size TV you use either.
Same on D, I lost count how many times there's been a wide open 3 on the other side of the court, while I'm guarding the dribbler on the other. And I have no idea that guys even open because there's a small part of the court cut off on that far side. Weird.Comment
