There's honestly nothing "fine" about this game, in any mode, using default rosters. Everything may seem fine because you haven't experienced the game in any other way, but the game is highly flawed using 2K's rosters. In MyPlayer, you're exposed to 9 CPU controlled players on the court and that's when the rosters and playbooks are exposed to the fullest.

If you think watching PG's stand around with the ball for 10 seconds and fail to make post entry passes 50% of the time is fine, then to each his own.

Interesting because im a PF and the PG never stands for 10 seconds. I dont know where you are getting this from but i've played 2k since 2k2. It's fine. especially if you move without the ball and set some screens. If you know how to play ball and actually play in a realistic way, the game will do the same.

I'm not doubting you but it definitely occurs in my game. I'm a SF and there are possessions when the PG stands in one place until forced to shoot. I've tried some different things but the problem is that it happens to the AI teams too. Like I said, my games are 75-70. If it was just my team, I could see your point but that's just not the case. I'm going to start over with custom rosters and see what happens.

How often do you set screens for the PG? that alone gets the ball moving. Or call for it and start the movement yourself. I don't see the ball stall for 10 seconds but 4 or 5 at times.

I've tried setting screens....haven't necessarily called for the ball. What would I do for the team I'm playing against though? They do the same thing. They don't stall as much as my team but they are constantly chucking up shots with 1 or 2 sec left on shot clock. I'm by no means a great defender. And I'm on a 76er team that is playing around .333 ball....definitely shouldn't be a defensive juggernaut. I'm going to try the community roster and see if it helps. Thanks for your input.

Us (Knicks) don't have a problem with that...we're 2nd in the league in PPG, with about 100 per game, and Top 10 in points allowed, with only around 93 PPG.

I play 12 minute quarters on simulation with Authentic's slider set.

Wonder if there are any slider settings that would be part of the problem. It's got to be sliders or rosters in my case. Guess I'll just have to experiment.
