PG - Guy who can run the offense and get to the basket off the pick and roll which opens up other people as well.
SG - Shooter, good defender who will usually take the best guard on the team and a person who will run in transition for easy buckets.
SF - Main scorer or "super-star" if you will, who can play good defense on both guards and stretch down to playing the 4 on D if need be.
PF - Secondary or third man on offense, doesn't need to be a great defender but must have at least mid range jump shot for pick and pop or a shot off of another pick and roll. Preferably a good rebounder as well.
C - Defend. Rebound. Block Shots. Period.
6th Man - Defender for either low post or guard play. Some type of jump shot that makes the defense stretch at least to mid range.
