it'll take a few weeks for all the contracts to officially be put in place...

if 2K is a standup company, they should already have a complete roster update including rookies all ready and set to go soon as legality allows it


none of you guys are taking into account how crazy the trading is about to get, we are about to have the craziest amount of trades and roster reshuffles about to happen ever in the next few weeks

Two week free agency window, amnesty waivers, rookie signings, overseas contracts with no opt-out clauses... It will certainly make for a refreshing reboot to 2K12. It will also leave little desire to play with the Nuggets. I wonder if I'll still be able to to draft Wilson Chandler in my fantasy association.

And while they're getting them rookies in the game, lets not stop there. I'm anxious for them to roll out some of that season long "updated "in game" content" they spoke of. Show us your power 2K!

We're like them crazy folks waiting outside of Walmart at 11:59PM for a chance to buy 10 Xbox games for $2.00 or a 40 pack of tube socks for $0.99 at midnight on Black Friday. We gotta have it!!!

Yup. I'm quite anxious for all of this to shake out. It will be quite pleasing to be able to use NBA2K12 as intended. With the lockout ending, the DLC arriving (and the trading of legends), plus an upcoming patch, everything's really going to be coming together.

This introduces so many other problems that it's laughable people are ready to throw a parade for rookie cyberfaces (which have been available offline for weeks).

I get it for the online crowd, but offline gamers are on hiatus from now until the next patch (and maybe longer if the patch doesn't fix everything we hope). Personally, I'm happy about the NBA being back and pissed that I'll have to wait even longer to enjoy any single 2K offline mode.

I can't wait to get my rookies, but I now I have to start my Kings association over I was only one game into it so it really doesn't make that much of a difference...

If you're a real NBA fan, then you should care about actual basketball and not another man's cyberface. The obsession with cyberfaces and accessories has gone a bit too far in my opinion, but to each his own.

Like I said, I'm happy the season is back because of the real NBA not because of 2K.

Ronnie just confirmed via twitter that rookies will go in once their contracts are signed..I take that to mean they will all appear over the course of a couple weeks...who knows how long Biyombo will take

We can't put them in the game (even with lockout lifted) until they sign contracts. But thats basically inevitable now that the season is on
