Re: Sim vs Cheese - Lets debate

Sad truth is, online is just a watering hole for scrubs who only care about wnning, in any way possible. There's no sportsmanship, and no fairness to about 80% of most gamers you'll meet.

The last online game I played was against a guy who used the 96 Bulls and scored 53 points - 50 with Jordan. I paused the game and kept on highlighting the rest of his 'team' all with no points barring Kerr who had hit a desperation 3. He quickly switched on his Mic and said:

"Yea, whas yo point bro? All I do is win, I don't need anyone else but MJ to win, iz all about the W bra, running shiz plays and postin up get you no-where"

In response to that, I had an absolute meltdown and quit, quickly turning off the PS3 before the risk of smashing it to bits became a dead cert. That was it for me, I haven't played online since. That guy summed it all up right there, and it's something that's never going to change.

Offline for me, where I can play REAL ball, where the AI has a more diverse skill set than most fools online, and can actually play straight up without exploiting you to death.

Know your limits. I just don't have the patience to play against these bums. I salute those of you who do.

I completely understand you. The problem is not the cheesers, though. The game doesn't really give you anything to counter play like that on the defensive side. You can't really set your defense to be ready to double him and have your 3 offball defenders play the lanes to guard against the pass to the open player from the double.

Not only that, but fatigue doesn't factor into the game as much as it should. Players get tired when they are going to the rack all day getting layups, dunks, and colliding with defenders. At the same time, working the ball around on offense and running the defenders through screens should also affect fatigue.
