Nothing changed from my end. Nothing changed from his end (As far as I know).

Yes, we were able to play before. We were able to play in 2K11 and since launch on 2K12 up until about last week.

We are both wired.

Couldn't find the NAT settings you were talking about though.

If you don't get this message than your NAT should be open and good to go and it crosses out that as being the problem.

Thank you for the link. I didn't get the error. I will have my friend do this test to find out if he receives that error. I will get back to you in a couple of hours with his results.

Yes, unfortunately a drop can be caused by EITHER of the two parties... so one person can have a perfectly fine connection and if the other causes a glitch, etc. then the game drops and both think it's either 2k's servers or the other. No way of knowing.

The "no remaining players" makes sense - that means his connection may be timing out. That still doesn't explain our drops unexpectedly.

The playbook one was fixed according to the patch notes.

In OA games, they took out the option to edit/alter your PB in-game. So if that is 'fixing' it, then yes in that mode it is 'fixed'.

I have not had the time to check, LR/Ranked games to see if they took it out or actually fixed it.

Update again.

Have tried to play 4 games today, all bombed out.

First 3 were OA games and each time we received a "net error" d/c.

Last game was a wired to wired connect and got a "no players remaining" d/c... we were in a XBL party, when we got dropped, it split our party up into two seperate parties and kicked both of us back to my locker room. (my LR started the game).

Matt, you can change PB in LR/Ranked games, not in OA though.

Were the "Network Errors" all at the same time? (I.E. second quarter)

That was consistent when it happened for me.

Chia, no need to edit your playbook ingame in online association, I never have an issue in online association with my playbook saved from the coaching menu in online association, when you make edits there, they store serverside and any plays you added will stay there. Unless there are new issues after the patch.

quick match and play with friends on the other hand, I would be good for 1 game, then if i forgot and picked a play I added, without fail, the game would drop, I havent tested this for myself post patch. But prepatch this would happen without fail.

Matt, it should be fixed for LR games.

OA, the option to change your PB ingame used to be there and now its not. So they took it out for a reason, I never had a problem with OA pb's either.

We are trying to start an 30 man OA and it will be kind of stupid if the two admins (he and I) can't even play against each other

get alot of network error drops when playing against the top teams and im ahead. seems like when im supposed to get a loose ball, the game coding wants the top team to get the ball and it cant accept that im smacking a top team. next thing i know, the game crashes. kinda weird but it happens alot in the 4th quarter when im spanking teams like Miami or L.A. its like the game coding rage quits on me. lol.

The more information people can provide here, the better. I can't continue to stress that enough.

Here's a quick format of how you can help provide feedback:

Error Type - No Players Remaining or Network Connection Error.
Game Type - VS in Locker Room or VS Quick Match
Qtr. Length (If Custom)
Teams chosen
Did you change your defensive settings?
Did you use the quick defensive changes that are new this year? (Left on DPad)
Did you use a different camera angle from default?

Any other info. is very helpful and will only help us all out in the long run.

Any other games you two play w/o problems?

Net Errors are due to the two users losing sync between each other (4th Q Net Errors) or not syncing at the start (1st Q Net Errors), well at least that's how I understand it.
