Lol, i was gonna say what exactly OGKing said. It is just the principle, i wouldn't two craps if the rookies came out tonight or a week. I can wait. But dont get people excited by saying, Yes its coming overnight, then delete the stupid tweet. That is poor business. Some of us have been waiting since launch or before for these rookies, especially if there from our hometowns.

I understand what your saying. Its just like your expecting madden 12 to come out in August, and they say it will, and on launch day it just poof isnt there. That is bad business. At least he couldnt have tweeted, hey, it might be longer. I am cool with that, but since he said that i have been eagerly waiting for my rookies all day. You know? With iphones, smartphones, etc, there is no excuse for not keeping us informed, period.

Yea, exactly.

Some people are clearly too impatient.

They said by the end of this weekend, so it should be here tonight or Monday. If not, then oh well, we'll get an update from there.

Roster update will probably not arrive tonight if Ronnie deleted his tweet.

Which is fine by me; they would probably (no, definitely) be incomplete anyway. Posters (and people in general) who are getting bent out of shape over this need some perspective.

Release it when it is ready, but it better be worth the wait.

I agree with everyone. Although i get confused because 2k was constantly saying that they had all the rookies ready to go and were waiting for the lockout to end and that soon as it did they would release the rookies. Well, its been about 4 days. I just think they could have released some to keep us happy.

Oh well, i am just a avid basketball fan, and was disappointed tonight because Sunday/Monday are my days off and i was looking forward to playing this. But heres to hoping that i will wake up tommorow afternoon to a new roster!

I'm not surprised people are disappointed, especially after we were given some type of deadline. It's too bad. I'd like to be able to play with SOME rookies for the time being. I think everyone is just ready for the season to start.

I think the only issue with the rookies is the jersey number for some. The main holdup I think is that some teams currently don't have full rosters in real life. A few teams only have around 6 players under contract at the moment.

If I had to offer a guess, I think we will get them at some point Monday afternoon. Unless there is a flurry of player movement between now and then

I am not going to defend 2k it was a bad move promising an update and not delivering, but I am not going to act like doing it is as easy as you are trying to make it out to be, it is more that just adding player it is integrating the commentary adjusting cut senses etc.......

You'd think they'd have that ready to go by now. Im just saying.

2ksports shouldn't write checks they can't cash. It has nothing to do with patience, more so lying douche bags. 2ksports are the biggest scam artists in the history of scamming. Of course I called this when I heard about the roster update being dropped this weekend. I played it out in my head. People get stoked about the update and finally getting to use the rookies and then the weekend goes by and 2k decides to post some dumb excuse of why their is no roster update. It's getting old. And it's not all about this update. I'm more upset about how careless they are and how little they care about the people who spend money on 2k games every year.

its not all about the rookies there is so much player movement i'd be surprised if 2k got the roster out today when they do release they still will have to update there's no telling who is on move the next

This doesn't really bother me. I'm enjoying myself with NBA 2k12 so far. i can't complain i just can't.
