Correct me if I'm wrong re: Artest, but wouldn't the announcers saying his new name require Harlan, Kellogg, and Kerr to come back into the 2k studio to record it (or at least Harlan)? That's probably not gonna happen, and I'd imagine the only reason the PA guy can say it is because he's an in-house employee.

How could they predict where everyone was going? The ability for players to start moving, and the teams to have transactions started on Friday. Sure, there were "word of mouth" arrangements, but they can't put those in. See below. They've had 24-48 hours worth of transactions. Half have made it through the league desk, half haven't. Some are being vetoed by the league office.

The point is, they did not have anything to do during those 2 months. What else do you want them to put in? They have the trades/transactions that are official and cleared. Once rookies contracts go through the league office, stamped/ratified, then they'll be added in subsequent roster updates.

Gotta disagree with you on this Will. There is no excuse for not having the rookies ready to go. Its safe to assume that 90% of those rookies were going to sign on day 1.

It seems the Jan Vesely contract was in-fact not confirmed by the league office before they left on Friday (same with Jimmer and a number of others), per the memorandum we received Friday. These guys now have the green light and will be in the next update (now that we have confirmation).

I've been searching high and low for news on that Glen "Big Baby" Davis traded for Brandon Bass...I looked on both teams websites and NO news about either of them...yet 2K has them switching teams...is it official?

Why don't you guys tweet what players can('t) be added, daily, weekly? It seems that you get a transaction list/memo from the NBA, it would certainly give your (2k) consumers a little tidbit of what is upcoming in the roster updates, instead of leaving the consumers in the dark.

I'm disappointed that for all this Artest/World Peace, the announcers still say Artest at the starting line up screen! I thought the announcers were going to call him by his new name?

When sth/sb changes their name people still call them by their last name(the one before current one).
