i got the 3mb one....funny cuz i played as the clippers online vs knicks and i destroyed the guy....the whole time i was amazed at the way the game played only to find out that was not the patch....lmao.....can u imagine what it would b like for me when i finally do get the real one....lol*ImOn2TheX1*Comment

No main patch for me as well. I got the 3MB patch which I already downloaded some weeks ago. Probably a new MS security update.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm XComment

I got a 3mb patch this mourning and it has to be the patch. Before anybody says it yes I got the MS patch from a week or so ago. The reason why I am saying this has to be it is cause I am noticing the things that was in the notes. One thing I did check though that can't be mislead as placebo or anything else is the Pippen dunk package fix. That's the first thing I went to check and sure enough I was able to give SF's the Pippen dunk package now. It's still limited as where you can't give it to guards but you can now give it to SF's who have at least an 80 dunk rating.Comment

The CPU doesnt ever double.
FACT.
You are not seeing double teams. I simply dont believe you. This is something I have tested extensively. multiple rosters. default included.
pre or post patch.
What you would be seeing is the cpu help D shadowing the area the person with the ball is due to either:
1. The court spacing not being sufficient enough allowing a secondary defender to make swipes or shadow the ball handler because his matchup is in the vicinity.
2. Help D covering a driving lane.
3. The D collapsing when you drive the lane or fake or take a shot inside.
These scenarios are NOT double teams. The cpu NEVER double teams a hot or mismatched player. [meaning, forces you to give up the dribble and either shoot or pass the ball due to a legit double like all previous 2k games.]
Case in point.
I just played 1 half of a game using my Superleague roster.
01 LAKERS [me]. vs 07 SPURS.
Pro. [this has been tested on higher difficulties]
I only went to shaq. every play was called for shaq. and only he shot the ball.
1st half results.
LAKERS 54
SPURS 46.
SHAQ: 54pts, 22-30fgs, 10-20fts.
NOT ONE DOUBLE TEAM.
There was 4 instances of a secondary defender turning away from his man and attempting to swipe the ball resulting in a foul. He only did this because Shaq recieved the ball with the defender guarding the passer was close to Shaq when I passed it. He was in the proximity of shaq and had a go. It was not a double. Not once did I have to give the ball up. I simply had to wait till there was sufficient space to operate then backdown score or foul. NO DOUBLE.
Shaq in his prime. rated 95. Maxed strength, 99 inside, 95 close. Always in a mismatch. Never doubled.
So No.
there are no doubles by the cpu.
I have only ever seen the cpu double [trap] the ball handler in pick n roll situations. and that is a rare occasion. The Cpu seems to not be programmed to double hot players, mismatches, in Iso's, or postups. It simply doesnt happen.
and its broken the game for me.
I know to regulars I may be sounding like a broken record. but I fail to see how this is ignored. It was one of the things that stood out to me once I started testing this game. I first noticed it watching CPU vs CPU games. but didnt really think much of it. Only once I took a dominant player and noticed how I could go to him over and over and no matter how hot he got. the cpu wouldnt adjust with a double, would never force me to look elsewhere for offense.
You can take any superstar and break Wilts 100pt record if you are adept enough in scoring with that player.
try it.
repeatedly call the same play for a star player and only score with him. Watch as the cpu simply wont force you to look for offense from another player.
There is no inside outside game in 2k12.
I will say it one more time.
The CPU still doesnt double.
