    1. Do we KNOW what hustle does? The game claims it is for diving on the floor. So now people are saying it is for jog/spring frequency? I always thought hustle should be a tendency, not sure why it is a rating.

    2. I wish this game had the "FastBreak Speed" Slider that College Hoops 2K5 had. Or it might have been NBA 2K5. Does anyone remember that? There was a FastBreak Speed rating for the offense and defense.

In that video, Hustle was at 43, On-Ball Defense was at 95. and Defensive Awareness was at 90. I'm sure the results will look a bit different with lower sliders but overall the catch-up speed seems to be slightly better post-patch.

Also a lot of players (especially PF and C) do have over-rated on-ball defense and that's more of a roster issue than anything else.

The sliders with the largest impact to fast break success/failure seem to be Driving Contact Frequency, Ball Handling, On-Ball Defense, and Defensive Awareness. None of these sliders get rid of the moments where players accelerate instantly instead of gradually reaching the top speed of a player already in motion. I think that the problem is simply acceleration vs top speed when changing directions and that's not really under our control it appears.

I don't think there's much we can do about that from the user end, but I've enjoyed the fast breaks out of the game with custom rosters and sliders. It's not nearly as big of a problem as it would be for those who are still using defaults.

The primary function of Hustle is still diving and reaching for loose balls.

It can't be on ball defense and defensive awareness sliders. I have had those at 100 for user and the CPU still greatly out runs my team on fast breaks.

And even with those at 25 for both for the CPU, they always manage to run out and get in front of me on fast breaks. So to me, it seems more of a roster problem then a slider problem.

This game suffers from the same problem all the other sports games suffers from, way too many players have similar ratings. Way too many high speed players and too many players just rated too high in some areas across the board far the movement ratings go.

Sure I know this is the answer many on OS hate hearing, but sliders only fix so much, at the end of the day if you really want to fix the game, you going to have to edit individual players across the board.
