We talked about this a few pages back. I hardly call what Kyrie tweeted whining.

He said he was going to have to prove them wrong. He didn't tweet Ronnie2K like D-Will did telling him to change his rating. They just changed his rating anyways.

Hell he didn't have to do that if he wasn't feeling some type of way about it now did he. . . NO. He did it on the cool by saying. . . he was going to have to prove them wrong. He didn't tweet "oh Ronnie at 2K I love this game and me in it". Dude probably got beat-down playing some 2K against Boobie Gibson!

In my Chris Carter voice. . . C'mon maN

2k shouldn't put themselves in this tough spot. When rookies demand a ratings upgrade then vets who are garbage will do the same. Kyrie needs to prove he can dunk in the NBA on a regular basis before 2k ups his dunk rating. Derrick has proven he can throw it down. But 2k is really backing themselves into a unfortunate corner.

If I were 2k I would tell Kyrie hey homie you can always update your ratings yourself. Prove to the team that you can throw it down like D.Rose and Westbrook. And prove you can stay healthy.

I don't see what Kyrie Irving did to deserve a 90+ vertical rating. Who on earth does he think he is? His bounce isn't like that at all.

If they are just evaluating Derrick Williams and seeing that he has bounce then what the hell are they doing. This is seriously a joke man. This is a joke!

i know i sound like a broken record but are they going to fix nick young, and maybe change some of the hair styles.. i know its not that big of a deal but i cant even play with nick young or michael beasley and i want to bc they look pretty ridiculous

LOL What would that accomplish? Then that means we would be stuck with their inaccurate rating and wouldn't be able to edit them? Nah, don't wish that on the community man

Why do you think the rosters are getting delayed ? He's not done getting the list of demands from players as to what their stats should be.

I thought the delay was because they were waiting for signatures on contracts, etc. not because they were waiting to get approval from players on their 2k ratings....Kyrie got it right when he said I will show 2k on the court...

It work for 2K when they release All Pro Football, I don't see why it wouldn't work for NBA 2K. Of course there will be the group of people who will dislike this rating system as well , but hey you can't please everybody.

Would that mean no user ability to edit ratings? That'd be disastrous, largely for the sake of historic edits and also for my own personal usage. For instance, I always feel Jason Maxiell comes off in 2K as way less explosive than he should be on his dunks. Totally not cool if I couldn't alter that.

If that makes it so we have to rely on 2k's vision of the player ratings, then the game would be worse off. A majority of what makes 2k tick is the fact we can customize and adjust the game to the way we want and fix mis rated players Not to mention creating classic rosters will be pretty much dead.

If that ability was taken away a la APF style ratings then we'll be having the problems we have now (big men dribbling like guards and jacking late prayer shots Etc.) and no way to stop it.

Chris Johnson, used to play for LSU? I understand your point, but there's a reason he's not in the game. They need to have open database with every player, instead of them use CAPs or whateva. Make the player 1 time and upgrade accordingly. It's not that hard, let us the consumer go thru the player database and get larry Hughes on the magic or whateva.
