I can see the dilemma and can understand the complaints about removing him.Comment

With all of the other options they have in game, you would think something as simple as turning off injuries would be easy to implement. It is extremely irritating at the very least.Last edited by Illustrator76; 12-25-2011, 02:08 PM.Comment

If I read correctly, Boston still has his rights, and that explanation doesn't change the issue of him not showing up for year 2+ of the association. I have the same issue with those players still in China.

. It also doesn't answer the issue I brought up in the first post I made in this thread. They are 'locked out' the NBA this year, but what about next?
It's about the association. I'm all for emulating what happens in the NBA in season 1, but after season 1 things change. Those China players won't be locked out of the NBA forever, and Green will apparently attempt a comeback. Your explanations don't address those issues.
If there was a way to add those players and have them locked for a season that would be awesome. But 2K has it's hands tied this year, I understand that. They still shouldn't have removed Green though IMO.Comment

Actually he isn't like those guys. Jeff Green is still part of the NBAPA so they could still use him. Those guys in China aren't apart of the NBAPA.Comment

I still believe removing Green was a mistake.Comment

I also don't like the fact that there isn't an option to "Turn Off" injuries in the game. If I recall correctly, if we play with these Injured players in offline play, the player is automatically subbed out of the game. Very strange, I don't understand why 2k doesn't just put the players on the Injured list? Why make them "Injured" and have their ratings dropped 20+ points? If a player is on the IR, we can't use them Online anyway or in any mode.
What I'll probably do is download a roster in 2k share that people upload. I'll find a roster from about a week ago that has all of the rookies and all of the players who aren't injured, and I'll use this roster for Offline play.Comment

All I want is updated rosters. It is pretty ridiculous that there are no second rounders in there. I'm waiting to start a legit association/my player. And I agree, Jeff Green should be in the game.Comment

I agree 100% with this, and it is something that detracts from the game for me. I have even tried PMing a dev and asking him if they can put out one roster set with injuries and one without (or give us the option to turn injuries off), but I was never given and answer why this can't/won't happen. It makes absolutely no sense why we are FORCED to play with injuries if we want updated rosters with correct player likenesses from 2K.

We. Don't. Want. Injuries.

I'm disappointed 2K thought it was more important to add Xmas jerseys that will only be used once over adding players who actually made the team. If you strive for accuracy in your roster you have to continue to wait even as the real season plays outYou looking at the Chair MAN!

I agree. They could have put out with injury like they did the other hurt players. Even if they had an issue with him not actually having a contract with the Celtics then they could have just put him in the free agent pool injured. They had players in the free agent pool last year with their injuries on.Comment
