does anybody have tips or a breakdown on the memphis grizzlies i just started running with them and only can use rudy plays would also help and defensive help is also needed

Run pick n pop's with zack randolph, cause he's good at shooting 3pt's against them bigger dudes, also try to make rudy gay cut to the basket a lot, cause you can lob pass to him really easy, cause he has great hands to catch those.

+Sign a 3pt shooter as well. If Rudy is missing (just like the other night) no-one else seems capable of hitting from out there.

Practice!

I use Z-Bo in the post a lot, also I do pick and pops with him.

Find out where they hot spots are, this will help you a lot, I couldn't hit any 3's with Conley after a pick or pass out then I practice using hot spots and I found out I was shooting in his cold zone.

his mid range is only 67... His post is all Great, so why would you shoot mid range?

Gasol has a better mid range, so give it to Randolph in the post and wait for the double team.

Practice your post moves, I usually do post drives and drop step lay-ups with Z-Bo, he also has a pretty good fadeaway as well.

Use Rudy's pull ups, he's great with pull ups and can drive to the rim as well.

You have to run off of turnovers.

Memphis has 3 guys who have 80+ steal ratings, Tony Allen,Conley, and Rudy. You will force TOs, and when you do, get out and run. They all are pretty fast and can finish at the rim. The same with the bench players.

This. I play with Memphis all the time and this strategy works a lot. Don't ignore Conley either because if he gets hot he can be lethal.

i didnt know he was rated that low in the game, i havent really used him. i was just basing it off of real life, and IRL Randolph has a nice mid range game, heck he can even knock down the triple if he is open. 2k must have his ratings off.

Yes they have his mid range ratings waaay off, it's pretty sad considering I watch 90% of Grizzlies games and I know his mid range is way better than a 67

Rudy is lethal at pull up threes. He also plays well at step back jumpers in mid range if you get legit seperation. He also can post well if you have a true small forward on you(r jefferson, s marion, c budinger as examples). lots of pump fakes.

To add on, I kill in my association with Tony Allen. Crank up fast break, and just run with conley rudy and TA and you'll have an oop or TA dunking on someone or finishing a good layup. His finishing skills are best on the game for the Grizz.
