I'm interested in keeping people overseas. How would you guys go about it and still have them a rookie when they come into the NBA?

Also wanted to add that McGee's PER is 19.9 and Bynum's is 21.1. Relatively close production for a cheaper price tag and less chance of injury.Last edited by Bajney; 02-17-2012, 04:32 PM.Comment

His contract is expiring and currently he is getting paid 14 Mil, if he wants to be paid more than that I don't think the Lakers would be willing to pay that much for a guy that is injury prone. JMO. I also believe that McGee fits in with Mike Brown's defensive philosophy, is young w/ potential just like Bynum (Both 24 y/o 7' footers) but without the injury issues. McGee is only getting paid 9 mil a year compared to Bynum's 14 Mil+. Seems like the Lakers could use that money to sign some younger talent in FA. What is your take?

You would just have to let them sit in free agency. I'm not sure it is possible to make them still be a rookie unless you want to re-create them using a undrafted propect or D-league player.Tennessee Volunteers

Yeah Im gonna go ahead and send Howard to Chicago. Realistic + its the best trade for the Magic. Ill include Omar Asik with Deng and Noah as well as the pick to make things a bit more in favor of the Magic for losing Dwight.
Bulls are #1 seed in the East though and are easily the NBA's best team, so I still have some difficulty with it as I just doubt they would blow up their team when things have been cruising along.
Pau Gasol, '12 2nd (Lakers), jason kapono to Hawks
Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu, Glen Davis to Lakers
first is optional

I like this trade a lot...and yeah, I would take out the Hawks 1st rd pick. They're already giving up youth in J Smoove...and I think a straight up Gasol for J Smoove trade is fair in and of itself.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
This year is probably the best of Bynum's career. His PER may be similar to McGee's, but when both are healthy I think it is obvious that Bynum is much better. McGee still has a lot of potential but right now Bynum is better. Bynum does have major injury concerns that are not a concern with McGee. I expected LAL to re-sign Bynum if they do not get Howard. I just don't really see them making a change. The trade you mentioned wasn't unfair, I'm just not sure it's just not realistic if that makes sense. JMOComment

In my assoc. I traded Blatche and Young to the Bucks for Jackson and Ilyasova."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

You just leave them in free agency, and then when there ready to come back, you just edit them and set the years pro to 1.Comment

I take back what I said earlier. This is correct. I didn't realize you could edit years pro.Tennessee Volunteers

Blatche would probably fit best with a contender who has a solid foundation of verterans. Perhaps San Antonio for Bonner, Anderson, and Green. You could send him to Boston for Jermaine O'Neal and a 1st round pick. You don't get a ton in either of those trades, but you shed a bad contract and pick up either a pick or a young prospect.Tennessee Volunteers
