2K is too lenient with their awareness ratings. No way in hell should JR Smith average out to a B in intelligence.

This happens every year, I don't know why you guys complain about the same things ever year. In the end, we still all buy the game. Unlike next year, when EA comes out with a BBall game.

update pekovic please. he has been playing as well as lin for the WHOLE season and is still 56 and one of the lowest in the game.

Pekovic looks fine to me. 91 Inside is accurate to his game, since he is an inside presence. What could 2K possibly update on him? Maybe his Freethrow? lol

Go play as him in a game or against him, guarantee he can put like 20 points in the paint.

These people had Hamilton still in when he hadn't been seen for a week, let alone the additional week he was out. Taj missed like one game, maybe two, and they had pulled him and he wasn't seen for nearly 2 weeks.

I don't necessarily expect daily updates, but that ish was cold. Was like, either Scalabrine or Jimmy Butler to spell Boozer, and I usually don't look with Boozer much online.

I understand if the Knicks are your team but you can't be mad if they lowered your squad's players if they are having a bad season mainly shooting. They were lowered because they were not performing up to the ratings given to them based off of last year and didn't deserve some of the ratings they were given, that is not for no reason. Go to a site like Hoopdata or any equivalent and you will see Melo is having a bad season especially shooting the rock. PPG down, FG% down 3pt FG% down. The same can be said for Amar'e his stats are down this year he had one of the highest MED for a F and now it has been lowered.

Also, adding Lin with great upgrade, JR Smith, Baron Davis, etc will artifically over-boost the Knicks team rating. Are the Knicks better than the Bulls? If Melo's and Amare's rating stayed the same, Knicks team rating would be higher than the Bulls. The Knicks are only .500.

IMHO, i believe there's a lot of give and takes around players when factoring in a team rating that must be realistic. Celtics roster was inflated due to its starting lineup, yet their record bespeaks mediocrity.

I played a lot with them. They really need to just update his rebounding and awareness on both offense and defense. He probably will be in the low 60's. His shooting numbers are pretty accurate. I don't know maybe his potential might go up.

I agree and don't forget the coaches ratings that plays a role in the overall play of the team. The Knicks improved on defense compared to last year. When I play with the knicks I realize they are a great offensive team with a lot of options. With JR, if he gets hot man it is just a different option when you can bring someone off the bench to anchor the second unit. But their defense is not there they have 2 above average defenders Shumpert and Chandler and the rest are just ok defenders.

Well atleast they got J.R. Smiths number correct! ohh wait...

I think roster updates will always be a letdown even if they had the best people here on operation sports doing them. I'm just happy that I have a somewhat accurate roster to use online and not pre-season ones with like Kristic on the Celtics, oh god that would suck.

I see they have the Rookies vs Sophomores game in the NBA Today section but it's being played at the Staples Center? I thought the game is in Orlando? SMH

Thats funny, Im reading on the back of the box, "more dynamic updates than ever before, from shoes to player models, to court floors-ensuring that 2k12 looks just like the real NBA" and Ive yet to see anything like that...

Not really. 2k has updated player's accessories. They give them new shoes every now and then, and update arm sleeves/stuff like that.

I do wish they would add masks to the game, like when Kobe and Roy Hibbert were wearing one. Don't even think Rip Hamilton is wearing one, not sure if he still does though.
