I think that nikkismif should edit most recent waiver movement to the roster before we start.

How exactly do you view that doc? Not sure how to open that download.

Thats the actual roster file for 2k12 on the PC. Once I finish updating the roster, I will see what I can do about getting lists of who is on each team and free agents on lists so everyone can see what we see.

I have a question about the draft classes. We need to make sure these are really close to real life. Like this year's draft is a very deep draft that teams are salivating over so we need to make sure its the same for our draft class. Is the one we are using like that? Are the stars (Barnes, MKG, Sullenger, Davis, Drummond, etc.) really good? And are all the right players in the draft class? I know I downloaded one on the pc a few weeks ago and it was really accurate, but is the one we are using accurate?

The guy who created the roster we are using, slimm44, is almost done modifying a draft class to match his roster for us. I am sure he is making everything as realistic and making the draft as deep as the real one.

Also, I am working on making basic Google Docs with every teams' roster.

If you are expecting high ratings, you will be disappointed. Especially expect awareness, consistency, and potential ratings to not meet your expectations. I have documented my findings as to how the 2k sim engine works in regard to stats and how potential effects development over time and those findings are listed in the thread that contains my roster file. The way I calculate the ratings is based off of how the simulation engine works and I have crafted a slider set that takes into account how these ratings are implemented during gameplay.

I am open to suggestions on anything you think needs to be changed, but if you suggest a change, make sure you have a good reason (that is backed up by how the game processes the numbers you suggest). I am especially open to suggestions regarding subjective stats (Awareness ratings, dunk, layup, etc) and welcome constructive criticism. When making ratings/tendencies for rookies, it's usually a crapshoot because nearly everything is an educated guess, at best.

This draft is big on hype and is expected to produce several rotation guys, some starters (with time), and some potential all-stars (with time). It's depth is based on a lot of projected mid-grade NBA talent but doesn't have many elite, overall players. Unless he gets hurt, Anthony Davis is the consensus overall pick and he is very weak, has a below average post-up game based on his strength, and gets most of his points off of cuts, hand-offs, offensive rebounds, and oops. He's considered the "stud" and he has a lot of room to grow on the offensive end and physically.

Most of the players that I've edited from PG-SF are very young, very athletic, and mostly raw when it comes to skill. These players are being drafted mainly on upside and most of them have not been consistent on the collegiate level, let alone the NBA level.

Essentially, this is how the overall ratings pan out so far:

< 50 - Will probably not play during rookie season unless it is in the D-League.

50-59 - Has the ability to play spot minutes but will probably only be a rotation guy if somebody gets injured. May spend time in D-League.

I still have almost all PF's and C's to edit, but I don't think Acy is in there. I can create him if he's not, but he's probably not going to be much higher than low 60's overall and is more likely to be in the 50's. He's a 6-7 PF/C and that doesn't usually translate very well to the pro game. I haven't seen him on any mock drafts, either. He mainly jumps high, dunks hard, and blocks shots.

Lillard is not there, but I'll create him. If there are any players that you're curious about, ask and I'll check for them. If they're not there, I can do my best at using 2k's facial editor to create them. I can't promise they'll be great, but I can make them as close as I can.

EDIT: Damian Lillard is a 64 and the best overall rated PG so far.
