You believe 2K could handle the implementation of this?
It would take a commitment to detail that we've never seen from ANY console sports title. This coming from a company whose official rosters typically trailed reality by months at a time in 2K12, not even accounting for actual player trends/ratings which we never received decent updates for.
I'd rather they focus on getting the current Association mode updated and clean up a lot of the mess that hasn't been fixed since 2K11. Then worry about trying to sell me on a new mode later.Comment

I have been pining for a mode like that for years!
Having all other scores and transactions reflect the real season exactly and if a player on your team goes down with an inury IRL but you don't want it to happen in the game you have the ability to override it.
Better yet, lets say you want to make a trade that hasn't happened IRL, you could still do it and the the game will simulate the games including the other teams involved in the trade while still pulling real life scores and trades for the rest of the league.
a mode like this (even without the override complications) would save us from restarting a dynasty everytime a blockbuster trade happenes and would allow us to reach the playoffs with a nifty what-if scenario in which the only difference from real life is the games the user played.

This is a true obstacle.
But, I don't think it's really a new mode that would take time away from developing Association. It would take them committing to daily updates and opening up Association to receive the info.

no thanks. the fun of association for me is taking over a team and building them to my liking, and have the rest of the league do their thing to build their teams. its like your own little world. if i want the real nba ill watch the real nba.Comment

I control all 30 teams and do this to the best of my ability just trades and stuff minus who won or loss so I would LOVE this!!I kno so much about the NBA I should work 4 ESPN!!!!
