Find it stupid how ONLY people who pre-order can get it. It's not like you're paying extra to pre-order, and the people who don't pre-order, can't even get this mode later on such as buying it from the playstation store or something.

I'm still getting it on release day, but don't wanna go through all stuff of pre-ordering it(I've never pre-ordered before,cause there was never any point, not like game was gonna be sold out).

Exactly! It doesn't cost you anything extra and if you want ASW you can just pre order.

Now there is a point to pre ordering; you get ASW and you don't have to pay extra. It doesn't really matter that it won't be sold out, now you have an incentive to pre order the product. There's now a point to pre ordering.

I believe the point remains that ASW should still be available to folks at a later date, but for cost. I feel like I've read some quotes suggesting it will, but what's the harm in 2K stating as such from the get-go?

I feel like a "Pre-order and get ASW for free instead of having to pay for it later! Free content!" would have created much better vibes while still drawing an unusually high amount of pre-orders than "Pre-order to get ASW or else you're doomed! Your chioce though!"

I totally agree with you.
The guy I quoted though gave arguments that kinda contradicted himself. Kinda using "you get this for free if you pre order" like some sort of complaing. Also, he's never seen the point for pre ordering before (neither have I) but now there is a point.

2K should've said what you just said instead of saying there's no way in hell to get it afterwards.

But, as most gamers know, company's do that something and then later make it available as a payable DLC, or in the GOTY edition.

Guys I have one question. Is the ASW a preorder exclusive, meaning it won't be available afterwards if you don't preorder or will it be made eventually available to everyone as paid DLC?
I contacted all retailers in my country and they have no idea If I'll get ASW by preordering NBA 2K13. So it seems the only way for me to get it is to pay double the price and buy the Dynasty Edition...

does the ASW dlc will be like all the other DLC format or if it will be like 2K12's classic GSW and Sac teams which are already in the disc but only playable for those who have the access code

It's not an exclusive. Don't know why you're getting bad info. Just use GameStop, Best Buy, or Amazon.

I think you didn't fully understand what I said. I meant that if you don't preorder the game can you still get the ASW as paid DLC from the PS Store?

Preordering = NBA2K13 60$ with DLC but if i don't preorder it wait for DLC later and pay 5$ would cost me 65$ all together ...Preordering is the way to go Its saving me 5$ which isn't much to a lot but it is to me

that's what i was getting at why pay 5$ later for the DLC if it comes out later when all you have to do is preorder it which gets you that DLC and saves yourself 5$ when you preorder it. Your not putting down a extra 5$ its just towards whatever you pay so for me game cost 60$ I go preorder it for 5$ go in october 2nd pay off what i owe which would be 55$
