Well, I'm surprised I'm doing this as I'm still learning new stuff on Photoshop everytime I work on covers or other projects. But there it is, I have been tweaking my own template ever since my previous cover and I'm getting tired of tweaking it now. It's just mostly the fire on the court that has been giving me a hard time. Sometimes it looks right and sometimes it looks weird. Anyways, here is the template:

All that red is an eyesore on the original 2K cover imo, so I decided to go with a very less saturated backdrop instead to give my color choices more pop. The red background clashes bad with certain colors depending what your trying to achieve so that's another reason why I HAD to get rid of it for this piece in particular lol.

Uh, well, using low quality pictures on a big size cover never works out as good as you hope. The thunder effects are a little too much and you could've used a layer mask to cover some of them up. I do like the liquify effects on the Cavaliers rookie and Hornets rookie. The liquify effect on the Blazers' rookie's shoe makes it look weird. Lol....Should've done it on the sock or something. Other than that, it's okay. I appreciate my template being used.
