We've simply been toyed with. That stream today was a joke. I can't believe I was a little hyped. lol

Oh, and for those who didn't watch: Ronnie2k said he would try to get some gameplay footage, but it never came...

EDIT: That KD and Blake interview cannot possibly be the big announcement they were talking about a couple weeks ago. I'm really clueless now.

1. We told you guys we'd be interviewing Blake & KD. We did.
2. This was the plan, unfortunately time prohibited this as they didn't have time to play the game due to shoot, Olympic obligations prior to that etc.
3. That is NOT the announcement being referred to in various reports.

You guys are eager for information - and it's coming.

I think that people are just sick of 2k beating around the bush. We understand that you guys want to hype everything up but its getting a bit ridiculous. I would have rather known nothing up until this point than getting little bits and pieces of information.That's just my opinion

Y'all KNOW we'd rather see *anyone* play 2k13 than Durant stand around for five minutes.

That's pretty much what 99% of folks tuned in for, especially since Ronnie said gameplay footage was coming up. If they're too busy, get the two guys in caps to play a game. Or the makeup artist and caterer guy. We don't care.

Hype and info is great and I'm glad it's starting earlier this year but I don't think any other video game uses more hype devoid of gameplay footage or screenshots than 2k. Hah.

It's no big deal and I know you guys are trying to have a little fun with things, but hype works better when folks don't feel confused, run around, or let down for paying attention.

Also, the inclusion of the Dream Team would be cool enough on its own. Creating our own Dream Team using an extremely generic jersey editor is no where near the same as playing with an authentic squad. It's similar to how lame the All-Decade teams were that existed prior to 2K11, where Hall of Famers were present, but they all wore generic white "All-Decade" jerseys and played on the same team.

Bottom line, for those of you who wonder why older gamers like me get excited for things like this--we haven't got to play with players and teams we grew up watching for the most part since the 8-bit days. The chance to play with our favorite players from back in the day on current consoles is huge. I don't give a rat's arse about current players and teams. Let me play as MJ, Magic, Bird and the rest of the players from the 70's, 80's and 90's and I'm good.

Dude, I'm with you... but damn, its just a game. Let them release their info when they see merry. Its frustrating to us... but whatever, its not affecting my life.

Kinda reminds me of the whole "The Decision" and the current media blitz on baseless Dwight Howard stories. Thats their job, however frustrating it is for us.

The fact that people get angry at 2K for not releasing alot of info early is just a sign of what a strong brand and what a good franchise they have imo.

Classic 2k. Any expectations I've ever had of them went out the window when they released 2K12. And they REALLY need to take a good look at their marketing team, the interview was awful, bland, and no enthusiasm. They need to hire other people to conduct press related stuff. Keeping it in-house is not a good look.

This is the exact reason I just bought 2k12 for the PC on amazon for $9.99. The new base roster mod has literally every significant player from every era and also the dream team and redeem team. I also have it for the PS3 but I play the PC version to play with my 90s/early 2000 Knicks,ballhog with the 2001 Iverson, and matchup Barkley against Shaq.
