Trading him to the West would be the best thing possible. Why deal him to the East especially when you have to have the misery of playing him 4 times a year. Maybe do this trade if you can. Trade him for Lawson, Fernandez, McGee. Or maybe McGee and Faried. Another trade that could be possible is trading dwight to Memphis for Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo or Zach Randolph if you can. Even though that will give you weak Centers you still have a good chance with Gay and Mayo to build around. The best case scenario in trading him in the East trade for Joakim Noah.

what u guys don't no is i actually sent this guy messages about the idea. before i even thought about doing a story line. i wanted us to work together on creating this magic project...but dude only responded to me once...ever since he has never responded and i wasn't about to wait around to try and work with someone that obviously didn't want to. I sent this guy a message right after i posted this thread giving him tons of props and giving him a bunch of credit for previous work.. i even told him that i used sum parts of his story line (the hawks) because i got stuck and couldn't think of nothing. Either way its done, and as i said before its just something meant to be fun and hold guys over till 2k13...that is all

here is my actual messages to him, just so yall can see:

hey man, first off i want to say i really enjoy all of your story lines, and i feel that they can very much add excitement to the association weather your waiting for 2k13 or just plain out want a good association. With that being said, I get really deep into the real NBA so i always know whats going on with all players at all times. My favorite team is the Orlando Magic and im pretty sure that you know of all the drama that is currently going on in central Florida right now regarding Dwight Howard. Out of all of the story lines you have going on right now i feel this could be one of your best ones yet. I also feel that me and you both could really make this particular story line real big, challenging and fun. We could put a bunch of twists, turns, a whole bunch of stuff just to kind of get that actual drama filled, stressful type of situation that is going on in Orlando right now. I believe with sum of my basketball and insider knowledge along with this just simply being my favorite team in the NBA, with the addition of all of your creativity and your knowledge of the situation. we can really create something special. If your cool with it I am definitely willing to work with you on this story line to create something great for the community. If your interested please let me know what you think.

That's cool. I don't even think you needed to do all that tho. Scotty is not the first to do what he did, and he doesn't have exclusivity to it. You had an idea, you shared it with the community.

The second one would be terrible return for Dwight Howard in my opinion. Al Jefferson is nowhere near Roy Hibbert or Marc Gasol in terms of value (once again my opinion). If this was like 2007 or whatever when he was still a young prospect for the Celtics then I would feel different.

The third one is AMAZING value for Dwight Howard. I would probably go with Paul George rather than Danny Granger though. Danny Granger would be a perfect number two to Dwight which is why I think the Pacers would try and keep him. If they trade him, then Dwight has no legitimate number 2 on the wings which is what I think he needs. I think you should try Dwight for Hibbert-George and two first round picks and see if you can get it.

The Marc Gasol one is decent too because you are getting an all-star big man back. It also seems realistic from a Memphis point of view

Eventually went with some alterations to the memphis trade. added j rich and q rich (2 of 3 worst contracts) and brought back oj mayo, marc gasol and mareese speights and memphis 1st rd pick. both mayo and speights are under 24.pretty happy and the core of the magic gets younger.

Hey so I have been busy and haven't been on in a while... but I don't care if anyone else makes up their own story lines.. but they are not my original story lines, so please don't use the same exact form and even title trying to make it look like my work. And if you have any creativity you should be able to make up your own story lines and not just copy and paste and then change a few players names and the team. (It seems to be the same as The Atlanta Hawks Story Line)

As for Franchise 408 obviously I don't have "exclusivity" to my own idea.... ok but why are you putting in any 2 cents shouldn't you be working on your association mode, and updating us all on it every 5 seconds?
