The bench there looks rather good: different postures, different attires, even the players are in the same resolution as the on-court ones!

For the modders I don't think they can play much but for me using the mods is just a simple click and drag. Copy & paste and I'm good to go and it only takes about a minute.

I don't go crazy downloading every single mod as I only pick the courts and faces that's really needed. For example the Knicks MSG, Bostons TD Garden and players with missing beards and I'm good to go.

ON TOPIC: I don't mind the generics as much but it would be nice to add some fake details on the side of the shoes instead of it being a solid color. Someone mentioned NBA Live 10's generics and I can't find any pics for it as I'm curious how they handled the generic shoes. Could someone provide a pic?

I can provide a vid though. Griffin, and B-Diddy, Camby are wearing the generics of the live series.

^^^^Live 10's Crowd Audio and AI is the best I've heard in a basketball game EVER. I keep forgetting how good it was.

Hopefully, 2K totally revamped the Crowd AI and Audio for 2k13. The past couple of years in 2k, it's been the worst part of the in-game presentaion by far.

Been hoping 2k would just record real arena audio like Live did, for the past 2 versions now.

Sorry, to go off topic.

As far as the shoes, I'm just hoping for Hi-res shoes this year like someone else had mentioned. The washed out look that was in 2k12, took away from the visuals IMO.

No one really cares if the shoes are generic or not. People care about if the gameplay and graphics are good.

First, stop saying no one cares when its obvious people do care about other aspects. Youre only talking about yourself. Second, why do you think graphics are so important? Because better graphics mean more realism. So, going with the realism theme, having star players wearing those ugly generic shoes takes away the realism from the game.

I honestly HATE when people boast about PC.

Not every single person on this forum has a monster PC, and because of that, don't own NBA 2K12 for PC. Neither do most of us have enough dough to purchase a high end desktop that can run it. So keep the screenies away from here, because we don't care.

PC gaming is not that expensive, if you see someone bragging about their rig and they spent above 850 dollars then they're enthusiasts they need the newest, strongest parts so they can get 80 fps and above.

Most of us common folks, spend around 600-800 dollars for a pc that can max the game out and run at 60fps. Most games arent that strenuous, only games like battlefield 3, the witcher, Crysis and Metro 2033. Most games don't need all of that power. This is just to clarify. also I bet most of you just have to upgrade your rig, because I'm playing 2k12 on a 2008 pc.

As long as the players don't have generic white shoes, I really don't care if some players have generic shoes. It would be better if they didn't have generic shoes but it doesn't really matter to me.

2K always seem 2 drop the ball on this and player accessories, definitely adds 2 the realism and look of the game if they got it right.

Last year we were promised that they would update player models looks, hairstyles, etc but they didn't.

But the fact that people lose sleep because Blake isn't wearing a sleeve and feel like that have to go crazy about it is annoying..... Lebron doesn't wear a sleeve every night so I will be cool if he doesn't wear one in the game!

Um, not at all upset. not everyone wants Nike or Jordan's, etc.

I feel ya but the rest of the shoes; Reebook, Adidas, & Converse are 3-5 max.
There are about 5 other shoes; Spalding, Peak, Under Armour, Li Ning, etc.

that other players wear. The problem I have players are wearing Nike yet have generic shoes in the game.

At least allow us to edit the generic shoes.

Manage Roster > Rosters > Find Player > X > Edit Player > Shoes

do you think we have the time to do that man? while developper's job is to do that!!!
