wtf is the point of this without pippen? we had an (unofficial) incomplete dream team last year. all they did was swap out the player that is missing. nothing has changed other than the fact we have the jerseys now. what a ****ing joke. 2k is becoming the new ea.

Well, you could blame Charles Barkley for being greedy and wanting so much money just to appear on the dream team. You could blame Pippen for wanting more money to appear in the game. You could blame 2k for offering him enough money. But if you think about it, it is hard to get the whole dream team into a video game. It is true that the dream team isn't the same without Pippen, but there a solutions to this. a. 2k could continue negotiating with him until the game comes out b. People could hex edit him into the game or c. 2k could include something like ea's gameface or improve the CAP system.

Most of my friends are casual 2k gamers.

I say: hey 2k has new controls and physics! they dont care lol.

I say: Hey 2k has the dream team, 2012 olympic usa team, charles Barkley and being produced by Jay-Z! they wanna pre-order it lol.

Casual fans outnumber us hardcore fans big time. This is a huge annoucement marketing wise.

Lol i just thought about it, but most of the people my age were just born when the dream team was playing. Who knows if they even care, but does anyone care that sir Charles is finally in the game?

I'm sure most people are happy that Barkley is in the game. But now that Pippen might not be in Nba 2k13, people are complaining about that instead of praising 2k for finally getting Barkley into the game.

Unless they make it so he isnt useless like dejuan blair is in 2k12, it wont matter thats hes in the gm.

Your'e right. They shouldn't have included it at all. But it's sad to think that 2k offered Barkley all that money and now he's only appearing on the dream team. 2k could have offered Pippen that money and he would've appeared on the dream team and the classic bulls teams.

Come on man, Pippen is not the main cog for the Dream Team... you are over exxaggerating now

Yea but when we talk about how the 2012 team would match up with the 92' team one of the discussions that is often bought up is how Pippen would match up with Lebron. Now that Pippen isn't in the game, it makes this announcement a little bit of a let down. If anyone (with the exception of Laettner) isn't part of the 92' team in the game, it's a let down.

I usually just edit rosters to make super teams that I play against friends with.
For the last 2 years, the PF is always an after thought.. The game needed Barkley, Prime KG, and Prime Duncan.
This is a huge addition for me. Scottie was great but there are a bunch more wing players he can be replaced by.

But what's the nba's greatest mode going to be like without Pippen? They better keep negotiating with him or the Classic Bulls teams might not even get included. Nba greatest mode will be a failure without the classic bulls teams. He's better than Barkley and Miller.

I respectfully disagree. I'll take 92% of the Dream Team over no Dream Team at all, particularly if 2K allows for roster management and the ability to create our own missing players. For instance, I'm extremely glad they didn't go the all-or-nothing route with classic teams. Even for squads missing prominent players (Nick Van Exel on the '98 Lakers in 2K12), the ability to fill out the rest of those rosters ourselves made their inclusion very rewarding and satisfying.

If Pippen is not in the game...it's really gonna put a damper on the classic Bulls teams.

Maybe we shouldn't be to quick to trade in those copies of 2k11 & 2k12....
