Has classic teams besides the Dream Team been confirmed for 2k13? I would think no Pippen could mean a reduction in classic teams.

First of all, it hasn't been confirmed that Pippen won't appear on the chicago bulls classic teams. second of all, if 2k reduced the amount of classic teams, less people would buy the game since it was a huge success and knowing 2k, I think the number of classic would increase going into 2k13. Reducing the amount of classic teams is something ea would do and then bring it back the next year as a new feature. I think the number of classic teams is going to continue to grow every year, and I think 2k will keep every classic team. 2k is headed in the right direction and the game is only going to get better in years to come.

I read through most of this thread and I can honestly say that some of you guys are a little too emotional LOL. I can feel your tears through your text. C'mon now!...while this isn't the BIGGEST announcement ever it's undeniably a great addition to the game. There's more to come! And trust me I could understand the disappointment if this was the ONLY bit of information they were going to release before the game dropped but why hold your heads down when this is obviously just the beginning? Hold on to your panties people! Gameplay is coming!

So Jay-Z couldn't place a personal call to Pippen too?? Great announcement 2k!! I think the proof is in the sales that your fan base appreciates the classic teams and features. This announcement should've preceded the Jay-Z one in my opinion, but all water under the bridge now. But please don't bring back Crew unless its hack proof. That was the best and worst gameplay mode of all time.

I don't understand how Pippen could be on one team and not the other. They either have his rights for the game or they don't. If you have his rights, I would assume he could be used for both. I'm buying the game regardless but it is a legitimate question.

@phenom1990...it was also reported that Barkley will be on DT but NOT any other classic teams, so I think it is possible that Pippen could still be on classic Bulls but omitted from DT for whatever reasons such as contractual, personal reasons, etc. I think he will be on the classic teams, maybe just not on the DT. But, who knows. Still a LOT of time until release, so anything is possible.

To me, as long as they don't get rid of any current classic teams, possibly add a few more as well as fix the passing and improve the gameplay, I'll be pretty satisfied.

Frizzz barkley isnt on no other teams cause they did make one for him to be on.

I'm guessing one of the old Bulls team will be in the game, but it would be odd not to have scottie pippen in the game since he's been in past 2K games. I'm hoping this is just for the dream team, if not guess we will be creating Scottie and putting him on the dreamteam and on the 90's Bulls.
