^^I agree with the poster above me about the shot quality, but we'll see if you test it out once more.

But what hardware/software do you use to capture your gameplay? I'm curious. I'm thinking about getting the Dazzle.

So next time you make a video turn on shot quality and you will see the Cheese with the CPU shooting.

I said the same-thing as well, the game is scripted that the Cpu will never shot d's or f's and if they actually shots a terrible shot, a whistle will be called on the you. But as far as the video goes, I thought it was a excellent video, the cpu does not look cheesy at all in my opinion. Jerzyreign made defensive mistakes, and getting a shot hit in your face every once in a while is fine. It depends on who's making those shots as well like he said, and you also showed the cpu miss shots that at the end of the shot clock. Difficulty level plays a role in shot quality as well, obviously the higher difficulties the more advantages the cpu will have.

That's a disheartening position to be in for an 82-game season.

I'm exaggerating man lol but we can't deny that there is something there to assist the CPU.

I will say that there have been times(when 2k12 actually worked)i've played against the ai with shot quality grade on. And a lot of shots that i took that were open(the defender is running towards me with a hand outstretched because he's' out of position) i've gotten a lower quality grade and the announcers talk about great defense. While on the other hand i've had a hand right in the computers face and they get a great shot quality grade while the announcers say there was nobody around blah blah. Even with the shot quality feedback off i've still often noticed the announcers saying that nobody was playing defense on somebody on the computers team as they jack up a shot with my hand in their face and drain it.

There are definitely things added to make the computer have unfair advantages to make up for the fact that the ai isn't very smart.

Just finished losing to the CAVS because Kawhi Leonard hit a contested 3 (third season he got traded there) at the end of the shot clock leaving 2 seconds left and we couldnt score on our end

            Yup no cheese

The CPU is so dumb with the Clutch Factor slider on 0. I put the Miami Heat to their mercy with the Nets 121-84 on Superstar! I felt like trying it on Hall of Fame but I just wanted to see the results. It seems the Clutch Factor is the brain for the computer. You play with it on 0, expect the CPU to not be a challenge.

I also posted about this earlier how when i first started playing the game on Pro I was getting beat bad. I was advised to turn clutch factor off. First game with clutch factor off I won by like 20. For my observation the big difference was the CPU no longer made a ton of contested jumpers.

Went home on lunch and played a halve on HOF sim, 8 minute quarters, default rosters and simulation default sliders. Give me a day or two to get that video up.

Sidenote: I have a bigger issue with rebounding on higher levels than the shooting so far.

Not a shot at Smoove but he's the reason a lot of guys run around talking about this 'shot clock cheese'. He gets a bunch of views and I just don't agree with what he labels as cheese. I wouldn't be surprised if he coined the phrase. Not sure why the video above is not working but I found another one of his videos and he labels 7:48 of this one as shot clock cheese. If you look at the video you can clearly see the offensive player had room to shoot and it was just a good pull. I mean, sometimes lucky things happen but things like this just snowballs the situation into something bigger than it really is. I'm glad the 2k dev team agrees with the 'shot clock cheese' is just a myth logic.

I didn't read this whole thread but I will honestly say, there is NO shot clock cheese in 2K12 nor will there be shot clock cheese in 2K13. Shot %'s are not boosted due to clutch ratings at the end of shot clocks. However, it is fun playing the game in the office, making a last second shot clock shot and screaming "shot clock cheese!!!"

Thank you, I think it's more of people being upset that the offensive player made a shot in their face.

He posted a video and has been posting videos with examples though, just like you did. You cant discredit his 'evidence' just because you didn't agree with the premise in the first place.
