Re: ANYONE KNOW T-MAC\'S REAL HEIGHT

who cares, 6'7 or 6'10... he's still a freak! seriously, when is the last time you saw somebody that tall on the street? honest to God, I doubt I have ever seen somebody 7 feet tall in my life. as long as he is that tall, I doubt it makes a difference to his game. It's ludicrous to say that 7 footers are slow and uncoordinated while a 6'10 guy isn't, there's hardly any difference. And if t-mac is taller than the other players he guards by one inch, two inches, or three inches it's not a big deal. Wingspan is the most important thing when players are all close to each other like that in height. With t-mac it's not just that he is a bit taller, but that he is so lanky; he can extend making it hard to block him and easier for him to defend other players. I assume this is what everyone is arguing over, the fact that knowing his real height may change people's opinion on his game (otherwise why would it matter how tall he is?).

I think all the kid wanted was his height so he could edit his height in the game, that is all.

Seriously, this became so off subject, this should be moved to the Basketball forum.

Most Heights that are listed on NBA rosters are accurate but we all know(or at least all of y'all should know)that players sometimes aren't as tall as their listed or vice versa. Charles barkley was listed at 6'8" cuz noone wanted to admit to being out rebounded by someone who's 6'5"- 6'6"

Look at KG easily 7' and possibly 7'1", but listed at 6'11 or 6'10 cuz people think of 7'ers as slow and nooone wanted to admit to being crossed up by a 7 footer.

I'm starting to think that the nba's short an inch on 50% of it's players.

I thought michael Redd was 6'6" but he's no taller than ray allen

So why isn't Nowitzki listed shorter than 7', cuz he's similar to KG plus he can shoot like Larry Bird
