So I guess this means my "wish" is already dashed...I'll find a way to regroup from the disappointment, lol.

It's something I never thought of tho, but I'm sure others have. It's a mechanic that other games already have tied to their career modes - minor leagues in baseball; starting out at the HS level in another game...it would be pretty badass if we could start our My Player several steps before the Showcase game. Or even make the Showcase game optional if we wanna get a little prima donna with it and not "hurt our draft stock" before the big night.

The level of immersion would be tough to handle.

Does anyone know if MyCareer is a different mode than MyPlayer or is it just a new name?

I've been thinking a lot about ways that MyPlayer could improve the player progression so that it is a more realistic rise to high ratings and feels like more of an accomplishment to become a legend.

In addition, I was just thinking that it would be cool if your MyPlayer (if good enough) could be selected for the 2016 Olympic squad and you could play against the 1992 and 2012 teams. That would be a pretty cool accomplishment on the way to becoming a legend.

i don't understand a few things... how is ronnies player in the league 3 or 4 years and still 19... you can start at 15 or 16 now? how is grant hill still playing? he will be 42-43 year old lol

My guess is that he is in his 2nd year and someone else played his game this time... ronnie was a 2nd round 29th pick in 2k10 lolololol

that pic was from his rookie year somewhere something got mixed up. his player is in his fourth year but that was his rookie picture and that was his durability that 99 and grants was 55

LD2K I'd pay $93.47 right now to get a HD gameplay of Nba 2K13. 3 minutes long is ok.

Why only 3 minutes Live 13 had a full 10 minutes....as much as I appreciate the sizzle trailers I would rather see 5 on 5 gameplay with commentary and arena atmosphere.
