There is no down-side to having more features like this unless it takes up significantly more disk space. The fact that the game has various suits already, why not add an interface to let users choose theirs? I also hope it goes through to include actual players. This should be the new Edit Player menu.*

actually there is a downside. even if i like it. the downside can come in to much disc space used. like you said. or time spent on adding this new addition took time away from fixing an old issue or adding something a bit more in depth.

Lastly, and this is most important. when these sports games ADD in a new feature. and that goes for EA too. just to be fair. you have to beware. because they are obligated by contract to constantly add "new features" the contract is with the nba. doing so. means if they add a feature like old school rosters. where people get all excited. and in reality its nothing more then a 2kshare roster with the faces correctly made. that takes away from a game mode that you or I may have wished was in the game. but they are saving that for next year as the "NEW FEATURE" this is what i think they are doing with crew mode.

to prove my point. my player is no different in reality then what the old 2k use to do with the street ball stuff. now they take you out of the street ball tournament and put you in a summer league in 2k 11, and now in a rookie showcase in 2k12. all they did was change the court around. and name everything you must do to move up. things that were already there but not shown to us. are now shown. people really thought it was a brand new mode. when in reality it wasnt. they took away that street mode. then brought my player in. to the nba that looks like "NEW FEATURE" , you add clothes and a twitter feed "NEW FEATURE."

you add my player blacktop play. "NEW FEATURE" wait a second. we had that in 2k11. how is it new? because it wasnt in last years game.

this is part of the reason why we will never get all of a what we want in one single game. unless that contract with the league is changed. beyond just saving something new for the next installment to have a marketing push. they have to save stuff to comply with their contract.

so beware of weak modes or weak new features, if you dont see any other really NEW features or if you see an old FEATURE taken out that you liked.

Sounds pretty sweet.
I reckon blacktop might be an off season thing or a new way to get skill points/raise attribute caps

How do you edit the game day stuff. all i can do right now is change his socks. is there any way to put stuff like arm sleeves and wristbands and all that other stuff on? or did 2k just take it out without telling everybody?

You have to buy stuff like arm sleeves and wristbands with VC this year for some reason in the My Player portion of the main menu (left side of main screen). Why 2k made the My Player customization options outside of the actual mode itself is beyond stupid...

I just got the game but I don't have online. Is there anyway I can edit what my guy wears (accessories & pregame outfits) in my career?

Anyone else having an issue where your sock color is always white? Not sure if there's something I'm missing, but my guy is playing away games in white socks and it's bugging me.
