That's one foul type. Shooting foul, reaching foul, blocking foul, charging foul, loose ball foul, over the back foul, illegal screen/pick... simulation basketball requires all of the above to be called at a realistic frequency.
I'm sure most of the sim-crowd wants at least a few of the above to be called more often and would understand if 1-2 of the above foul types were rarely called to keep the "fun factor". It's not going to be good, however, if we're seeing none of the above called at a decent rate.
It's early footage though so that's something that should be easily tunable via sliders before/after release. Not a big deal YET.Comment

Looked JUST like him... the loose feet, dropped shoulders, the way he shields the ball...

It might just be me but year after year the "swish" animation of the net looks weird - the ball appears to come out of the back of the net sometimes...bugs me for some reason...Comment

Everything you say is true. It's just that considering the ineptitude of the player, we could ONLY possibly see fouls on the perimeter...and even then, he didn't use screens enough, nor did he put all that much pressure when playing defense.
Though I'm not doubting the possibility of fouls once again being out of the picture, but I just want to see a good player before making conclusions.Comment

dont know what the guy is blowing on to think live has a chance.... he must not have seen that awful gameplay.... anyways, I would go as far as to say live does usually always excel in the little things like crowd presentation putting the entire team out on the floor and not just the first 12 guys, accessory colors for home and away, etc etc. JUST the little things. there gameplay and graphics have always been **** compared to 2k sports basketball games. Oh, and of course there online is WAY better.Comment

I noticed that players no longer wait for double teams to come trap them. I know that in the real NBA that makes sense, but in the GAME, it just defeats the purpose of double team.
