How does 2K owe us? They've gave us amazing games, let alone they gave us the best NBA player in HISTORY that we weren't even asking much for in 2K11. 2K12 was a mess but not something that we could use as something to say 2K owes us. It's basically been 11 to 2, 2K, with 2K4 and 2K12 being the subpar sequel to the year before. Also, Hacking is an option, not something companies advertise, originally when the games ships, the developers don't expect you to hack their game. If Crew had server issues, I see your point, but no one but yourself will tell you to hack your My Player for Crew. If you want to be fair, both are at fault, hackers, cheesers, and noobs with devs who can't deliver.

Issues, tons of issues it would take up to an hour just to find a game. You had to change the timezone zone on your xbox if wanted to get a game.

2K needs to man up and answer the question already. They should've done it months ago ("Sorry guys MyCrew will not be returning in NBA2k13 but we're working on something new that you guys would enjoy"). But no they want to play mind games. What was the point of that Facebook poll they had, MyCrew was voted second favorite game mode. If they wasn't going to bring back crew why even have it as any option. I just don't get it man up 2k and just answer the question.................that's just how I feel.

Private Team Up games are going to be best alternative to crew. If you have a good group of ppl on your friend list that play team ball you can really have some fun. Blacktop won't be fun at all. A bunch of ball hogs running up and down the court. But its not written in stone just yet, all we know is that MyTeam isn't the same as MyCrew.

2K is being coy about crew because they are obsessed with pre-orders. They want as many pre-orders of 2K13 as possible, so they won't say anything that might turn away business. In reality, 2K is just pissing off a lot of people by not saying anything.

yea, but they should know by now that after fooling us last year, we aren't biting on any pre orders. they should just let us know the damn deal. is "should" debatable? sure, but if they had any integrity as a company they would.

You understand that Crew is the second biggest feature in the game? 2K has already thrown out their heavy hitting features, including the bogus ultimate team mode for guys who wanna play with trading cards like its a virtual yu gi oh game and stack 12 LeBrons on one roster. 2k has never saved the best for last, and when they mention a my player bill board screen shot, I think its safe to say that there is nothing left in the goodie bag to give out. Also, not directed to you but some other guy, Developers make games KNOWING their games will be hacked. Why do you think Forza has a checksum on their saves, preventing some players from hacking. Some games keep their saves on the servers, and only people with packet editing skills are able to manipulate that. Either way, their excuse can't be because of too many hacked players, because they have done nothing to try and stop it.

man we all know why crew isnt on the game.... cause 2k cant stop people from making 8 footers and uncapped players so they just took it off completely.. imma miss crew but people did abuse it ... every player was 8 foot and up... whos to blame ?? i blame everybody who chessed to get 8 footers... my whole crew had regular sized players and was still beating them 8 foot bums , it was annoying but fun i miss crew but i cant blame 2k for taking it out... people abused such a great mode

Real quick...I know you're upset about Crew, but people collected basketball cards and participated in fantasy programs WAY before that stupid fictional game.

me and my crew use to beat some of these monsters with guys of normal height. now granted we did have to get the 99 overall boost. but hey atleast we were not beasts.

as much as i hated that cheese. and as much as i hated having to glitch my myplayer to be a 99 in every category. i still loved playing crew more then any other mode in 2k By FAR. those that dont like it, never played it or have only played it twice with guys they didnt know and didnt play their style.

thats when you start your own team and invite people that play like you. thats how my squad was. we were so tight, to the point when 2k12 came out we were all just waiting for it to be announced so we can take remake our team for 2k12. once it never happened. it pretty much disbanded us. i havent talked to any of those guys in months.

That meant "My Crew" got the axe. This year.

"We love My Crew," Thomas said. "But it's one of the more complicated features to put online. If we wanted to have a game this year, we needed to keep the feature set tight and small. When you get involved with Crews, there's a whole thing with data exchanging that gets involved."

My Crew was the online experience in NBA 2K11 where gamers took their created player from the "My Player" career mode, formed up teams and, in an environment supporting 10-player multiplayer, ran some ball. It was like having a regular rec league game, except online (and with guys who had mad skills).

Though Thomas cannot promise anything, he also sincerely did not rule out My Crew's return in future editions, attributing its absence in NBA 2K12 solely to the new codebase.

Crew was poorly implemented in 2K11 anyway. It was a great idea, but the execution was terrible. More than half of the games lagged out, and I remember searching for 30 or so minutes to find an opponent who didn't d/c before tip-off.

Keep in mind that you're gonna have to use your coins to pay their salary to keep using them online. You may have to go bankrupt on coins just to keep those two playing!

Well, yeah, you could do that if you wanna invest your own money into myTeam. People do it all the time for Madden Ultimate Team. I couldn't see myself doing it, but it's a good alternative to playing a million games for coins.

What I don't understand is 2K sees the impact of Crew yet decided to put it off another year. They see people go apesh** over crew. Just from a sales standpoint, why not make 2K13 the year they brought it Online and brought it for Crew. It has a cult following. It's like George Lucas saying hey I think we'll just stop after Star Wars 1. Ok maybe bad analogy. I mean Gameplay has seen it's day, Association has seen it's glory, presentation, etc. All elite stuff on those ends. Online has been the one area lacking. Time for the redheaded stepchild Online / crew to get their day in the sun
