MyPlayer is not my favorite mode, but I'm surely going to give it another shot this year. This may sound strange to some folks, but aside from the AI improvements, my favorite MyPlayer upgrade at this point may be the unlockable clothing. One of my issues with MyPlayer in the past was running out of reasons to play. It was fun meeting my first milestones, then many of the rest seemed to be ones that'd take years to accomplish, leaving me with a lot of random playing with limited results. Being able to unlock something, anything over the long term has always tended to keep me going in the past. That's partly why the NFL 2K5 Crib worked so well for me. So I'm hoping things run deep enough to keep me motivated.

On the flip side, one of the additions I'm not really feeling at this point would be the social media aspect. This just may be a sign that I'm getting older. I was looking at the list, reading Pauly D, Vinny, Justin Bieber, Mac Miller, and Bow Wow and all I could think was, "Man, I'm out of touch." On the flip side, looking at the list again, I'm glad I know JB Smoove (Leon from Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Brian Baumgartner (Kevin from The Office), so I'll take that. Also, to be filed under "I mostly knew it wouldn't happen but I was kind of hoping", I was just a tiny bit bummed that all the legends listed on Twitter were guys already in the game last year. I was hoping for at least one surprise appearance there, like a Latrell Sprewell or Reggie Miller or something.

Those drives/shots around the basket were really all I needed to see from a gameplay standpoint.

Much better layup decisions.

So... what does that mean? Is this a possible hint/slip at the ability to take your MyCareer player online?

I'm pretty sure they've already hinted we could do My Player team up like 2K11. I'm not sure if it was to that extent, but I'm confident we can take them online.

Sig Skills have levels 1 - 3 and they're requirements, Floor General Cost Level 5,000 VC and requires 95 off awareness.

If you had seen that ronnie tweeted that they had to "make" it 99 just for vids, and that it does take longer than 2-4 years to get that good.


That has always been a complaint about myPlayer that is was too easy, I'm sure they have made it harder, looks like they fixed AI as well to play to the strength of you're player.

2 new signature skills were shown. "On the court coach" and "Gatorade Prime Pack." May have gotten the names wrong but they were there on the first signature skills screen.

I am liking what I'm seeing, and as long as he's telling the truth and I see real improvement in my teams A.I., everything else is just icing baby. Btw is there anyway we can use an "official" 2k scanned face than having to create one? Just thinking it would be cool to have a better quality head than the weird mannequin looking faces your forced to create.
