Well there apart of the 2K family. I was expecting them to actually play more sim.
But the video is to sell help sell the game, I understand why they didn't go in depth like us sim users would.Add me om PSN for a good game of basketball!

The Harden and one animation and the Westbrook spin move were beautiful to behold. I can only assume the guys were playing a very elementary style in an effort to appeal to the casual fan base. From a marketing perspective I get that, but for us hoop heads I didn't see anything that gives me hope that sim basketball will be more effective then run n gun.
Online will still be the battle between good and evil it's always been. That's not 2k fault".. I just have to find a sim community to get the most out of the game.

It probably lagged for a lot of you guys because you were trying to watch it in HD...I watched on 360p and it ran pretty much flawless...game looks great and a big step up from 2k12 in regards to reactive controls...collisions..and the big thing I saw was non-canned blocks and deflections....blocks and steals look way more organic and all looked more manual rather than automatic.
Im loving how realistic the dribbles look...and we control them smoothly!

That was all you baby, lol. You got tight and starting making bad decisions. That play with Wade before the tide fully turned showed it. You beat him off the dribble and had a wide open lane. Why dish it out to LBJ for a bad/contested 3?Comment

But you can't tell me that Harden drive for the and 1 where he fell and reacted wasn't the smoothest thing you've ever seen in a video game !Comment

Yeah I feel the same way.
I don't have to worry about facing run n gun dudes anyway. My XBL friends list is full of sim heads. I only randoms when it's like 3am in the morning and noone is on haha.
I'm going to be satisfied regardless, I love basketball and 2K to much. When playing with sim heads the games flaws really dont scream out at you like that.
I also liked the players reactions after the buckets definitely shows more emotion. DopeeeeeAdd me om PSN for a good game of basketball!

I don't might legit knocks on the game itself but a lot of your complaints are based on what the USERS do with the players on screen....I seen nothing that made me think anything was unfairly cheesy or unguardable...all those up and unders were legit because the person CONTROLLING THE STICKS bit on the fakes...you guys should be ecstatic that none of it was a automatic canned animation and all user error.

Yeah I have never understood their logic for removing lobbies. They said it was to prohibit leader board climbers from cheating the system by preying on the weak or playing fixed games against friends. The thing is the sim community doesn't care about the leader board so I say let them cheat. Small price to pay for having the chance to avoid the dark side by using lobbies to separate.

I thought the lobbies were unranked well in 2k11 and they said that they removed the lobbies cause they didnt want experienced players picking on the newbies in the newbie rooms.Comment

I also didn't see any moments where Ronnie or LD just lost control of they're player. You know how in 2k12 when moving your player or dribbling near the half court line you would have moments where your player would do this weird step back dribble or whatever and you'd get a backcourt violation, I also didn't see any animations in the paint where you had to be sucked into an animation its like you can now actually play D in the paint instead of there being a dunk on animation every time a superstar goes to the paint.
The Heat is my team but seeing Lebron miss that dunk was kinda nice, you know in 2k12 that's an automatic dunk on animation guaranteedComment
