Re: Don't Give Out Ya Whole Bag of Trick But What's Some of Your Go To Moves
Double behind the back.(both user and Cpu)
Triple threat spin-spin jumper or a step back jumper(both user and Cpu)
2 in&outs- hesitation-pull up(user vs user)
the move where you sprint out of the post( i forgot what it's called) well that move then a spin if the defender stays with you, I use a step back jumper if I beat the defender or go to the rim, with the sprint move. I do this move at the elbow area, with a great mid range shooter carmelo or kobe for example. Works for both CPU and User vs User
Those were simple moves. I have better moves but I feel like I already told too much lol.Last edited by ForeverVersatile; 09-21-2012, 12:14 AM.PSN: ForeverVersatile

Re: Don't Give Out Ya Whole Bag of Trick But What's Some of Your Go To Moves
My favorite go-to move is actually my fav go-to move in real life. I come down at a slow speed, do the size up hop and dribble to the right or left and step back...rise...NOTHING but the bottom of the net!!! Unstoppable against smaller defenders b/c they can't get up high enough to defend it.

But your comment is a perfect example of people calling cheese when it's not cheese. You said it "sounds a little much", well what do you want? Do you expect your opponent to do one move? Do you want them to make it easy for you to defend? Do you want them to send you a message telling you what move they're about to do? Not a diss but you sound like the kid at the park that begs to play with the older people and cry because they didn't touch the ball.
My moves aren't exploits they can be countered and they don't work all the time. Cheese is the spin dunk, the hop step, the up and under. Cheese is a exploit, something that can not be defended. So which is cheese, one move that can't be defended or five moves in a sequence that can be defended? I'm not defending the guys that zig zag around because of the poor momentum system in 2k12, I'm not defending cheesers. I'm just saying that you can't call something cheese when it's not cheese.Last edited by jersez; 09-21-2012, 01:12 AM.ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUTUBE CHANNELS DEDICATED TO THE SIM COMMUNITY CLICK THE LINKS BELOW, AND SUBSCRIBE FOR ALL SIM CONTENT.

Re: Don't Give Out Ya Whole Bag of Trick But What's Some of Your Go To Moves
A series of ISO moves isn't cheese, it's all about how often you pull them moves off. If you excessively use them, then that could be consider cheese. There's a reason its called a go to move. Its going to work more often then not. Like Kobe, KG, and Dirk's post fadeaway. If every time down the court you go to Dirk's post fadeaway then that cheesing even though it isn't a exploit.Comment

Re: Don't Give Out Ya Whole Bag of Trick But What's Some of Your Go To Moves
I'm by no means a basketball expert so I find it hard to fit in some of the dribble moves when I play. Only real "tricks" I know are in the post game. One thing i've learned to do recently that I quite like, is where your in the post, back to defender, you turn one way fake the shot, duck down low going the opposite way almost under the defenders arms, and put it in.
Not sure if that move has a specific name or what, but I saw Pops Mensah-Bonsu (one of my favourite players) do it at the Olympics and thought i'd see if I could do it in game, and voila! gotten quite good at itComment

I won't go in my bag but the crossover is my favorite move -- if you see me sizing you up then your virtual ankles are in danger lol.
lol @ jersez being cheesy because he unlocked #IsoMotionAchieved#WashedGamerComment

Re: Don't Give Out Ya Whole Bag of Trick But What's Some of Your Go To Moves
Cherry-picking (after forcing the miss with 100% off-ball D), running around like a headless chicken until i create enough space to shoot a cheesy jumper, turn-around fade away J's in the post every other play (i.e. Dirk or KG), spin dunks every chance i get, and of course, pump-faking a hundred times until i get the garbage and one.
I have more, but would like to keep them a secret, as they (like the moves listed above) require A LOT of practice and skill to master.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

Re: Don't Give Out Ya Whole Bag of Trick But What's Some of Your Go To Moves
If you read my explanation. It's two versions a fastbreak one and a halfcourt one(the in&out move). The double behind the back is not cheese, there are two types of behind the back moves, I use the first one as a setup and the second one is for when the defender is with me. It's a couple of dribbles between the moves it's not one after another.

What you posted sounds like your one of those ranked game players that spam iso moves until you can get around the defender. I can see if you said in n out to the around the back, but double around the back..you hardly if ever see that in the NBA.
If your not doing something like this then your double behind the back sounds cheesy IMO..
