Exactly. Isn't the playing with friends in the context of the playoff mode?

This mode could have been great. 2K is taking what Ultimate Team does for Madden but with some of their own unique twists. But why would anyone in 2K dev team think it was a good idea not to allow you to play your friends with your team. Basically that one omission kills this mode for me. In today's gaming all online modes should have way to play your friends. Imagine a shooting game not allowing you to party up with friends, having to play ranked random games all the time, or being stuck in league with strangers? Why can't they get these things right. Always a glaring ommison.

They didn't sat you can't play your friends. They siad you can't play "Road to the Playoffs" against friends.

They should have made it so that you can play with your friends but you can't gain VC. Either way I'm still going to play it

You can play against friends on Madden Ultimate Team, you just get a minuscule amount of coins for the game. 2K should do the same thing.

????? This is a straight lie.

It came as ONLINE Association. An addition MANY people asked for...

I treat online vs. offline separately. Some people play online, some don't. Taking a mode online may be a big deal but the mode itself was not changed. If you can't differentiate that and would rather mistakenly accuse people of lying, be my guest.

Or, if you'd like to go another path and come up with a reasonable argument that the mode (not whether it's online or offline) received improvements, I'd love to hear it.

I'm not expecting, well....anything. But I'd be fascinated to read such an imaginative response.

This will be my last post on the subject, though. I voiced my thoughts on the MyTeam mode and now, things are being taken off-topic.

So, because you don't think it qualifies, then that's that? How about this: if the FRANCHISE team works on a mode that has FRANCHISE in the mode name, then it qualifies. Doesn't take THAT much of an imagination now does it? That was their franchise update whether you like it or not.

Thats a 2K priority problem not fans problem imo you can't say adding a new mode in the online Association constitutes as a addition to the existing offline association especially of the perspective to the consumer. The only way I'd say you could would be if you could convert an offline one into online and vis versa.

I mean to put it in perspective if next year 2k decided to take mycareer and make a full online version of the mode and did nothing even aesthetically to improve the existing mycareer they're would be a severe backlash from the offline people who played the hell out the previous yrs myplayers and will have to deal with any bugs and no improvements for another yr.

I guess the point is even if the Association team worked on the online last yr you'd think a company smart as 2K would realize

Says who? Sorry. That's your opinion and your problem. Neither of you make the game, so you have no idea how implementing the online franchise relates to offline. You guys act like putting in online is just a function call.

Online franchise was wanted and the franchise team had to do it. If they didn't have time to make major changes to base franchise, the you have to accept that. It is what is it. You can take it or leave it.

yeah, hopefully they can get it right in the future. crew was full of 7 footers while team pick up it seems everyone quits if they dont get the heat and the use of lebron james. if this mode goes well maybe 2k could add a coop element to it in the future. i could see myself getting into that

7footers were the least of my worries in crew more like the 7'5 pgs and the 8ft SF
