Correct me if I'm wrong but on the XBox can't you mod the file to make a player 99 anyways in 2k12? Seriously, one of my biggest complaints about my player is the sliders, All the bumping, suction, loose ball fouls, just to name a few is very annoying.

IF 2k was so worried about that, well have a separate offline my player. Everybody will be 99 anyways even if online, might just take a few months but it will happen.

Lol true that. People are always gonna find a way to cheat any way. Might as well just put the sliders in to please their customers.

No sliders because you are still able to play with your 'My Player' online in 3 v 3 Blacktop mode.

Even so, who cares? It's not hard to figure out who the manipulators are. There seems to be a prevailing sentument on this forum that there is only one correct way to play the game. If that were true, sliders shouldn't exist in any mode. But they do. If they exist in one mode they should in every mode.

do you guys even really care if some kid lowers the sliders to get his 99 overall? it would still take some time, and if some one wants to do that I don't even care. certainly not at the expense of robbing me the ability to play the game I want to -- and I need custom sliders to do that.

they could always make it so if the sliders are moved, you cannot take your player online. or limit it so you can not make it easier, only even with CPU or harder.

If 2k12 My Player had sliders, i have no doubt I would be playing it still to this day! I could get association gameplay into My Player, I'd be in hoops heaven. but instead i quit half way through season 1 every year because there is no setting combination that gives you even a remotely realistic NBA experience. And even though they say the AI is improved etc, we all know slider tweaks are always necessary if you play the game a decent amount of time.

If they haven't included them, I think we should start a petition or whatever to ask to get them patched in this year. and before you say I am crazy, its been done before. 2kMLB came out one year with no online sliders, even for private matches. everyone freaked out. First patch, they were nice enough to put them in for that mode. So it certainly can be done.

I almost want to boycott until they are in hehe, but I know I won't. I know you non-My-Player OS'ers don't care but anyone who puts time into this mode knows it would be taken to a whole new level if we could customize the gameplay to our liking. Like I said before, its the only career mode in sports game history that doesnt have custom sliders...thats just poor development decisions leading to loyal customers getting the shaft..

Sliders are needed to improve overall gameplay and to get decent team play in my player, let me give you an example.

In my player once your 3pt rating is about 75+ the CPU defenders starts to play very tight coverage if you're by the 3pt line. So can someone please explain to me why my teammate guards are standing close to the free throw line when guarding Stephen Curry?

Its a 3 point fest unless I take "My Player" and basically run around the court guarding everyone. I know I'm not the only one!

My point is My Player needs the same option found in association mode.

Also why can't 2k just wait a month into sells, after about a month everyone will have max sig skill, ratings etc anyways and bring out custom sliders through a patch?

Yeah but who cares?? I agree I want the sliders for the correct way. I would use them to make my AI teammates better. Because the AI sucks. But if we buy the game we should have the freedom to do what ever we want. If some noob out there wants to stack everything at 99 for himself then he should be able to. We are the ones paying $60 so we should be able to do that.

I absolutely agree with. Limiting the hardcore users for noobs faults.

Me I rarely play my player mode cause I really don't have the time and when I play 2K I'm busy with other things. The mode is decent to me, I never really played to the point where I could point out multiple flaws like some but I definitely do see some things that can get fixed quickly just by custom sliders.

But I feel for you guys.

Its not like we have crew or anything ranked with My Players.

If people think making their My Players 99 is fun by maxing out the sliders in their favour then let them. I just want to play 2k with sliders that makes it that my teammates aren't *** and the computer doesn't hit a ridiculous amount of contested interior shots

No Sliders my guess because of Blacktop 3vs3 online. Prolly fear everyone will put sliders on max & earn a billion VC in 1 game

It doesn't matter if Blacktop is ranked or not, sliders will give some users an advantage over other users.

Hi im a new NBA 2k player. Can anyone please answer me if i can carry on MyPlayer profile from 2k12 to 2k13? On 2k12 I've been playing 6 seasons with MyPlayer at the 10-minute quarter rate and i've played every single game on the schedule so it's actually a big deal and huge effort i put in the Player. So i just want to know if i could continue playing MyPlayer from 2k12 on 2k13. I'd better know it now so if i couldn't continue MyPlayer, i won't waste my time playing 2k12 for the next few weeks before 2k13 comes out

Well that's unfortunate. But don't 2k ever think about putting that in the game so it'll be more motivating for fans to keep playing MyPlayer through out? I mean with people who want to enjoy the real experience of playing real-time quarter and not skipping any match, it'd be impossible to at least make it to The hall of fame before the next NBA 2k comes out

It's getting real tiring seeing people say 2k doesn't care about their "hardcore" fan base..... Anyway with custom sliders my player rating would be a 99 within a week!

Yea but understand that my player is different this year. Your online my player earns VC by playing ONLINE GAMES. Your offline my player earns skill points. That should mean there are 2 different my players you have. 1 For online, 1 for offline. And if that's the case, then we should be able to adjust sliders in offline my player. Since we won't be able to use our offline my player, online.
