there's a video game shop on clark just north of belmont... you might try there. i don't know of any other independent stores in the city. i'd try myself, but i play on the pc and i just know they aren't going to carry it (even on release day). i had trouble finding a bestbuy that carried a windows copy last year.

I would try 7-eleven. With the flea market, someone would have to illegally get a hold of copies(usually an inside job within a store), but with 7-eleven, it's a legal copy and some workers might not know the policies on games that should be sold on release date. I'll keep you and everyone in the bay area updated if I'm able to grab a game.

Has this ever actually worked for anyone? I've tried it a couple times, and I swear they be actin like they have no got damn idea what I'm talkin about. Like they don't even know what video games are there.

Ive tried a few 7-11's, and none of them sell new video games. All old used or those cheap shrinkwrapped games that are like 12.99. What kind of 7-11 do you guys go to for new releases?

Your chances are very very slim. I almost always buy my game off of Amazon and I've been a Prime Member for over 2 years. Games always ship on the Monday before they come out usually between 12 and 3 p.m. local time. You should have the game sometime on Tuesday.
