I read in the thread earlier that here is a choice in the retail version to revert back to 2k12 controls. Can anyone confirm this?

I didn't think it was "2k12" controls, but rather holding the left trigger to initiate the right stick dribbling, while shooting will be the same as 2k12 (except for the added shot stick features, of course).

I love what I'm reading here. I'm on XBL Silver right now, so I won't be playing the demo at all. Thank God retail comes out next week. I already think I will swap the control and hold LT for dribble moves. lol

Definitely loving the responsiveness of the controls, though it seems I'll probably need to go back to 2k cam this year.

I'm getting used to using the left trigger + shot stick, but I'm not sure if I'll keep it that way. If the alternate control is to hold the left trigger to activate the dribble stick, I'll use that instead. I can't go back to buttons.

Had an awesome chasedown block on Maynor with LeBron. First row'd it.

That's what I'm saying as well. I cant see myself having to hold the trigger to activate the shot stick. I still think default should've been the other way around.

Meanwhile....I'm on PS3 and haven't played the demo yet. I guess I really should try it out before I make judgment.

i havent played the demo but looking from the demo vids posted here, im lovin the player movements and overall especially cpu running the offense, when theyre open they take advantage without feeling cheap

none of that bs in 2k12, where they go dribble dribble, pass, pass, dribble in the paint pump fake pass, ooohh 8 secs in shot clock dribble to paint, pass, up and under, score wtf
