Anyone know how to alley-oop? Left trigger + B isn't working for me on the Xbox 360.

I wish they had the alt control setup in the demo. For those who don't know 2k said the alternate control scheme switches the dribble and shoot stick. So right stick would be shoot and LT+right stick would be dribble. I feel like the alt control make more sense to me then the default but it's hard to tell without having the ability to try it out.

          Other notes:
          • Durant shot is beautiful
          • physics are pretty good so far. You can definitely tell the difference between bigger/stronger compare to smaller/weaker players
          • players vertical looks like it makes a difference for blocks (not sure about rebounds and dunks). Ibaka gets up when attempting a block.
          • controls will take time to perfect. I might go right into practice when I get the game to really get everything down.
          • this isn't gameplay related but I'm loving the soundtrack. I'm a rap/hip hop fan so hearing "victory" and "the world is yours" playing is literally music to my ears

really disapointed in the pause menu... (loved that u can see stats, however)

couldnt navigate or resume a game once it was paused. froze up on me and could not select the "quit" option when my oponent had used up his 3 minutes of pause time.... he eventually just shut off his console....

            PLEASE FIX!

also the game looks more video game like and less real life looking.... just my opinion

Want to add that I like the flow and feel to the game. Even though in a little sloppy with the controls right now the game feels more responsive and fluid then years past. Players feel more explosive and I haven't really notice any animations that are drawn out/slow/long. I wouldn't go as far as to say no canned animations but the few I have encountered flowed with the gameplay instead of feeling/looking like the game hiccuped for a moment.

I thought this way for a while, but then I thought about how about halfway through using 2K I started holding the trigger most of the time when taking shots anyway, just to make separation or do a more technical layup. I think it'll take some getting used to (on PS3 so I haven't had a chance to play it yet) but the more I think about it I'm not too worried. I'm just worried about getting used to using the right stick for moves, it never felt very realistic to me when I was trying to decide between Live or 2K back in the mid-00s when I wasn't into basketball video games. It made the action seem a lot more "gamey" than 2K from what I remember, and I wouldn't be able to control myself from going overboard on moves.

If you want to alley then push X+A. I've done it plenty of times. But sometimes when I want to pass to a teammate I throw it off the backboard to myself. I did this twice with Bosh

Gonna take a little while to get usd to the new RS controls, but I will give 2K the benefit of the doubt that it will be good once it becomes more natural, fighting it at the moment.

The AI, however, is leaps and bounds beyond 2K12 already. Super "Organic" feeling at the moment. The push the break, will look for guys on teh secondary, will break off a "Play" to shoot earlier in the clock sooooo much better than 2K12, which I thought was just terrible in SP.

Reminds me alot of ID2004, just guys playing like they would. Westbrook puling up for midranges, ISO jumpers for Durant, etc..

Really impressed with the AI and movement with the demo.
