I don't see how this is getting such rave responses. I was really looking forward to the demo from all the talk here but was severely disappointed. This is mainly due to the fact the game speed is so slow. Everyone feels about the same speed no matter what position and no one accelerates quickly like in reality. The game is definitely smoother and more fluid. I'll admit the new controls will take some getting used to but I'm sure once I get them down I will like them. I'm sure they will have a game speed slider but I'm worried for online this will be the default game speed and that is mainly all I do with nba. Am I the only who thinks this is by far the slowest nba 2k

Gameplay feels great. Hard time getting used to the controls though. It doesn't feel like it has a lot of variation but that's probably me not being used to them.

The negatives, imo, thus far is:
- Blocking feels sluggish. Pressing Y doesn't get the player to react immediately.

- Some players jump to high for rebounds.

Those are two negative things for me at the moment. Otherwise the game looks slick! I like the menus and the new scoreboard. Feel like a graphical upswing.

yeah blocking is sluggish

and the big men run too fast.

my second impression of cons this time around i found with the demo

• somehow i dont feel like the dribble stick is 1 to 1 it feels slightly sluggish with a small delay

• likewise i think that using the right analog stick with the modifier is a bit sluggish as well....catch and shoots seems to yield a not so responsive motion with a small pause before the shooting animation kicks in.

Just tried it on the Ps3. Def a dope game and I like how it's slowed down.. I have to get use to the new buttons, but I like it and when I get it down I think it'll be easier then last year to play..

Now I couldn't get a game online for this is does anyone else have that problem?

Also does the graphics look weird this year? Maybe it's cause I look at harden and his forehead looks huge lol
