im not able to get the demo for this and cant wait for next tuesday. i have the game pre ordered. does 2k13 blow 2k12 out of the water?? and how bad is the dribbling delay on xbox 360 every1 is talking about? just hopin this years version is an upgrade from last year. thnx for anyone who can answer ne of my questions.

Defense is close to unplayable with the broadcast camera angle (if you're used to using 2K). I do not know where my help is, it just feels so awkward. LeBron driving, I try to get my help but I do not know what position for him to take or where his relevance is to LeBron's trajectory. I really wish they used the 2K Cam for the demo, it's more universal than the Broadcast cam.

I would make a video to show all you little cry babies how easy the new dribble controls are, but I'm not... you need to learn. If you can't use the controls on Broadcast them something is just wrong with you. Love the demo and love the major improvements to this year's game. Her is a tip to people who haven't notice regarding the controls, u can do the spin move, quick cross, the double cross and basically isomotion moves using the left stick only if u move the left stick like u did in previous games. I find myself using this more than the right out on the perimeter. Don't get me wrong, I use the right stick but finding this out cuts my usage of the right in half at least. This may allow me to revert to right stick being the shot stick instead of the skill stick as default. My issues with the game are the response of the controls on defense. They are delayed at lest a half to a whole second and this kills on ball defense. Hopefully it's in only in the demo. If it is n the retail version, this will absolutely kill the the game as far as defense goes and defense will be similar to 2k12 where on ball defense was near impossible to play. As of right now I give the game a 9/10 not considering the delayed response of the controls. I am 11-1 online since I started playing.Comment

to learn?!?! you have the same moves on the left stick......
let's do the spin move > just rotate the left stick! what?!?!?! and the new right stick? naaa you don't need that!
but you can do the step back.... the behind the back...etc...
the only difference from the past is that you do not have to press the LT button.Comment

Why are you guys complaining about the controls & dribbles?
Not anything different i actually feel like this is easier then last yrs
I like the Graphics , controls , body movements it's realistic how bodies are bumping now ..love how i blocked Perkins with Lebron and he fell on his butt lol i didn't get WOW'd by the demo but im interested into getting it for sure.Comment

Oh lord, I just had the best block in my videogaming history right now. I had been cheating off Battier with Ibaka, so he cut baseline, received the pass and went up for a quick one handed banker. I reacted with Ibaka, came left to right across the lane flew over off 2 feet and punched it out of bounds with one hand towards the sideline.
I think that's my first real jaw drop moment from a videogame, that **** was authentic! I had to pause that, damn your lack of replay function!
Maybe it's just because I warmed up on 360 earlier, but the PS3 version feels a bit better too. It could have to do with this control set up being easier with a PS3 remote. I've also got the RGB full range colour on so the black levels look better and it makes the court stand out.Comment

First and foremost did something with ps3 change. Game downloaded in 10minutes. That has never happen before lol.
5 things that have sold me
1. Fast Break
2. No 2k12 type up and unders
3. This is the game meant for Small/Crafty type guards(CP3, Iverson, Rose etc will be a blast to play with.
4. Spacing=Drive and kick game( I live in mid range)
5. Stars playing like themselves-(Cant wait for higher diffuculties)
Added bonus- Getting released on PC
Only negative i can say NO FRICKING VITA VERSION
everything else can be fixed with sliders. And already blowing out the cpu lol.Comment

It's like 2k12 cleaned up,and I liked 2k12.It is more responsive and there is even more controls.It's more like 2k12 than 2k11,it's like a mix of both though.The hop step button that returns from 2k11 adds to it.The game speed feels slower and there is no sliding players.Comment
