Played one game. The controls feel a little weird, i gotta get used to using l2 to shoot and RS to dribble. Glad to see i'm not getting stupid bump back animations by defenders though.

Took me forever to get this to work, someone else posted with wrong commands....but with kinnect on(mic on) after the kinnect is listening comes on, you can say "switch camera" and change between broadcast and 2k cam.

2k cam is in the demo!

Just noticed something, you can actually DO A QUICK RELEASE SHOT! What i mean is when the shot clocks going down, or you don't have much time to shoot it used to be damn near impossible to get the ball off in time, but i just did it with lebron where he kind of threw up a rushed shot. About damn time!

Yeah, the Dunk Intensity Meter. I have still yet to see it. I'm at the point of letting the CPU get in the paint and dunk at will just to see if it's there. I'll keep at it then. Thanks.

Edit: I got it to happen, I don't know the specs on when/why it pops up but I got an And-1 and used Square to dunk. I've been using the stick but to no avail, but got it the first time with square.

I've witnessed the dunk intensity meter in the PS3 demo. I try to hold L2 and use right analog stick on fastbreak and instead I perform a layup.

So now I know to use square, thanks man.

Oh sorry, Minnesota skiing term. Basically pulls off a nearly-impossible post move, which sucks, considering Battier rarely scores out of the post.

I've won 4 games, lost 2 ... problem is im not feeling the controls. This is the first 2K where I've felt like the controls feel unnatural.

for the people who love the graphics... you on ps3? because on 360 the graphics took a step back. way back.. maybe 2k10 ish. 2k11 and 2k12 definitely had way better graphics. I know the zoomed out camera doesnt help but still... its more than just that.

Popped in 2k12 and on the same default cam, it's about the same. I think 2k13 has a slighty edge possibly. Hard to say after I zoom in like i like to do.

Edit:tried on the 2k cam and the crowds look terrible. Like PS1. All arms and hands are tringle looking and bad(xbox 360). To play on 2k cam on demo, say switch camera with kinnect sensor and mic on

Don't like the fact that with alley oops you can lob it up and a guy from your team can come out of no where and finish. The responsiveness is the biggest issue. I think the guys move and respond slower than they should, especially the athletic guys like lebron and wade, they should be quicker. This is even worse with the online half second lag which throws off what I want to do.

Hopefully in the retail you have a option to turn off or reduce the dunkometer popping up so frequently. Its encouraging to see fouls called in the head to head online games in this demo.

The music ain't bad. But they have the weirdest edits. Some songs they lik cut parts of verses and parts of songs out and it sounds weird(mercy for example). They did this last year and i have no idea why, it's dumb. Also why is suicide edited? lol Seriously? That's weird, not a big deal, just weird and dumb.

Yes you can. Played about 7 games. The trick is to keep backing out and starting a quick search repeatedly untill it finds someone. Dont let it just sit there just searching it will take forever to start one up.

You played the game for how long? You're complaining the controls suck? You haven't even given your self enough time to use them. Andmost of you play on 2K, so you're playing on a camera angle you're not used to. You played 2K12 for 12 months and now you expect to learn dribble moves in 3 quarters on a different camera angle?

I'm pretty sure when Kevin Durant learned to play basketball he didn't learn to cross over the first 3 times he tried. I'm pretty sure it took persistence and alot of practice.

The makers of the game said they recommend you play on the default controls and learn it. Remember a few years ago when the dribble scheme was different? everyone bitched omg i don't like it. But then when they switched back to default and actually learned it everyone was like wow it's like a whole new game.
