Also, the speed at which the standing dribbles are done depend on how long you hold the right stick in any direction as well. If you flick it you'll get a very short crossover that doesn't cover a lot of space, however, say with Westbrook, instead of flicking it you hold it in one direction. The movement then becomes much more dramatic and feels as well as looks like you're selling the crossover.
In fact, do whatever you can to get Harden in the game, because that is the most fun you'll have dribbling. EVER. Dude literally has the smoothest ball handling in the demo.
It's probably becuase you have a lockdown defender on both Durant (Lebron) and Wade (Thabo). It's going to be exceedingly hard to get by either. They play the angles really well and force you into bad shots if you aren't careful (Especially Lebron. Dude is a monster on-ball defender. Just too strong and can hold his ground if you go straight at him and quick enough to cut you off if you try to go by him with quickness).Comment

I'm really jealous. I live in Oklahoma, grew up 20 mins from the arena, and am obviously a huge Thunder fan ... yet, I've played 8 games and have gotten the Heat every time.Comment

I am lowering my grade from my previous demo evaluation from an A+ to an A, just because of the camera angle. I find it extremely difficult to play defense with broadcast view. I cannot adapt to this view and I have no idea how some of you guys do it.Comment

After a few games of play, the pace seems a bit fast to me. More arcade-like, but I'm sure it's because it's only one quarter. Would be nice if the actual game is more of a real pace. Realistic 12 minute quarters would be impossible at the demo's game pace.Comment

You aren't paying enough attention then. Westbrook, Harden, and Durant all have different dribble moves.

Has anyone seen the one-hand bounce pass on the fastbreak yet? ....I'm talking about the control one with (LT) and the pass button.
Everytime I do it, it is the slow two-hand bounce pass, which is not realistic on a fastbreak. Usually on a fastbreak the player throws it with one-hand. Maybe it is a passing attribute like for Steve Nash or somebody.
Edit: Just did it with LebronComment

What do you know? The shot stick is growing on me.....once people change the controls to camera relative/ get on their desired cam- dribbling will make so much sense to them...
It's really not unresponsive at all.
I'm not swing you guys block issue either....IMO it's miles better than 2k12Comment

Also have to remember that we're playing with probably the two best fastbreak squads in the league. Both teams have the athletes to change ends in a flash. I'd actually be a little worried if the pace felt slow and methodical with these two teams. But yeah, hopefully not every team/game feels this frantic.Comment

Have you ever heard of the "Rule of 21"? If you want to change a habit, you have to try the new way 21 times before it starts to feel natural. If you keep losing your keys, try to put them in the same place by the door every night for 3 weeks and then it'll start to feel natural.
I can see this being the same way with the controls. Play 20-30 full games (a couple of nights) and I bet the controls will start to feel natural.
