if a guy drives on you and your afraid he'll get away you can try to foul him, press steal. which is why most perimeter fouls happen other than gambling at least gives you a chance to reset

I still have post-dramatic stress from 2k12, where even if the offensive player blows by you and you foul, their driving animation will still continue and they sometimes get and 1's.

So I'm reluctant to foul on a blow by.

I am liking that you have to pick your poison on d ... you either defend the J and get murdered by drives or the opposite ... position matters more than ever, since speed matters this year ...

There are still some instances where your player gets pushed back unnaturaly (sliding due to a force field ?) ... but D seems way better than 2k12 ... also, the teammates seem to react a bit better on d too ...

Liking the spacing, on O am still struggling with new controls but will get better ... passing, post, everything looks promising, thus the FG%s seem a bit inflated, if only we could see stats at the end of the qtr.

October 2 cant come soon enough ... just waiting for the association insight before the release of the game !

Idk if it's just my controller but I seem to get that pop up glitch a lot. For instance I'll have a fast break and try to go for a dunk but instead the icon passing will pop up and my break will be ruined

Another example is if I have a wide open shot I'll hold L2 and use the right stick but instead of shooting my player will pass the ball.

Other than that the demo is great but this is incredibly frustrating :/

This is why I don't use shot stick. Yeah it gives you more control, but you never know when you're gonna mess up. I can't take the risk.

Don't know if this was mentioned but opponents are again logged in the "players met" area on psn friends tab.

Also I can't quit when a guy runs his pause timer out!

loving this demo! Love the feel of the game, lebron feels like lebron, durant is finally skinny and they got his shot down. But what did they do to his hairline? Hope they can fix looks weird. Online is pretty smooth. Lost my first game online and went on a 6 game win streak.

i played a few offline and a few online. Gameplay is nice and the animations are much improved.

Only thing is the online lags and the buttons are slow to respond. But offline i have no complaints except the new controls are a bit strange to get used to but im feeling pretyy good about them already

I know this is nitpicking but I thought I could over look the presentation but I'm not feeling it right now. The gold scoreboard and the Ed Hardy looking designs aren't realistic at all. If they had that for the Finals then I could roll with it. But for every game is just tacky. Jay should have just touched the soundtrack and called it a day.

.....and another thing, the shoes. 2K OKC wear BLACK shoes on the road. BLACK. these are minor details that mean a lot..other than that

i think the presentation is kinda cool, i liked the gold. to me the big improvement is on ball defense, great job there. but the controls, oh my god the controls, awful. i don't wanna be doing moves with the right stick, no thanks. and wheres my l2 square euro? where's my l2 circle oop? what's going on in this world? change it back. no tap tap crap please. oh yea, what happened to the triple threat moves?

ridiculous how easy it is to make a full court pass once again.. This is crazy 2k, how is this not fixable????
