Well people taking charging online on a DEMO?? wow some try hards

Gameplay is sloppy , defense is non existent , too easy to steal the ball ect
I decided i'd rent the game first then we'll see.

Wow people stealing inbounds and setting charges guys its just a demo take it easy i cant wait to play this game back with 2k12 controls other than the controls this game is twenty times better than 2k12 the gameplay is so realistic the only problem im having is timing blocks right but ill get it down.

the feel is better than nba 2k12 thats for sure, in terms of 'tight' controls and being responsive

but man nba 2k11 is still better than this, if you compare 2k13 to 2k11 and how it 'feels', 2k13 is sloppy

I always find it funny when you guys pretend like you can tell the games plays different, every year say how its much smoother blah blah blah.....the demo I'm playing doesn't look or feel much different then 2k12 other then change of control scheme

Durant - I think the same too, but I rarely sprint with him to stop a fast break unless its late in the game and hes tired so not sure.

Dunks - I seem to rarely get them...I just may be use to 2k12's unrealistic dunks when two people would be in the lane but you could still dunk but in this doing the same I only get layups, which get contacted and I miss a ton, w/o fouls the whole game.

Spacing - is pretty good, hated trying to do things in 2k12 with a center trying to do a pick even though I didn't call one.

Defense - Sort of the same but hey, not sure.

Battier on the 4 maybe a bug, but didn't he play some of that during the playoffs last year?

Battier at the 4 was a lineup that the heat ran in the OKC series, and will run next season most likley.

From what I played (4 or 5 games) I liked it. The new dribble controls work very well and the animations are all real smooth. It is better than 2k12 from what I can tell.
However, unless I'm just not getting it I really like the post game better on 2k12. I also am not really feeling the Jay-Z influence. The presentation was better last year.

Played some 10 games from the demo (PS3). Overall, the game is quite good. However, there are issues here and there, like the AI offensive rebounds cheese. After complaining for a year over this, they still leave it in the game, why so 2k? Hopefully, you can adjust it with sliders, last year even changing the sliders had no effect.

Im curious, did the Heat ever sub in anyone during your play throughs? For whatever reason they never subbed in anyone during the 8 games I played..but the Thunder did every game.

You can sub only if your player picks up two fouls (its automatic, you can't choose the sub), AI team subs normally. Not sure if you turbo someone whether it will be changed due to low stamina.

Im trying to learn the controls but its hard as hell on broadcast camera. And I love the player movement. Teammates cut to the basket and I hit them in stride with a perfect bounce pass... only for them to studder step under the hoop because I forgot to hold LT while taking it up...

Im going to get used to them though..
